4.0 out of 5 stars A great book for preschoolers, October 22, 2000
This review is from: Do Buildings Have Bones? (Time-Life Library of First Questions and Answers) (Hardcover)
This is one of those books that I had memorized when my son was a preschooler. He loved this book so much that we'd read it literally 10 times in a row. This book is one of a series of well-done question and answer books for young children. While an older child (6 to 9) can read the book on their own, younger, inquisitive children (3 to 5) will love having it read to them. On each double page, there is a question and answer, and interesting and occasionally amusing drawings. The explanations are nicely done and appropriate for a child. There is a good mixture of practical questions and child-like questions. In this book, a house is being built and the child can see the various steps that are required. These facts are interspersed with lighter questions such as "are castles real?" If your child has ever asked questions about buildings, then this is a good book for them.
