It was way too small for my Dell Studio 15. I had to send it back and got a 17" which fits.

this is my second BUILT NY laptop sleeve and i love it. looks great and fits really well. this one is a bit of a tight fit for my new 15.4" macbook pro but it stretches to fit. it is especially useful as an added protective buffer in a laptop bag. i highly recommend it.

I bought the striped 15 inch bumper laptop sleeve for my 14 inch HP Pavilion dm4. I was hoping that it would fit because I've always wanted a BUILT case and I loved the colors. I wanted a sleeve to protect my brand new laptop because I'd be putting it in my backpack and over the shoulder bag and neither had very good protective pockets. I received it on the day that it was estimated on which made me happy. The packaging was lackluster. Its was a foamy/sticky envelope that had some tears in it and was difficult to open and get the sleeve out. That was because the inside of the envelope was sticky (I'm assuming to keep it in place, but it was just a pain.) I got it out and was surprised the colors were very vibrant. It looks wonderful, and there was no damage in spite the tears in the package. I was very pleased with how it looked and despite the first time zipping it there are no problems. I LOVE it! It fits perfectly, with about an inch at the top which is nice because I can grasp it with ease and its not "huge" on my laptop. The foam/neoprene around it is just what I wanted, and the bumpers are a nice touch. Well worth the money! Looks like it will last a long time as well. There was a bit of a smell when I first opened it but it was gone about two days later without me airing it out.

For my Dell Inspiron 15R the sleeve barely fits. It's not too much of a struggle to get the laptop in and out of the sleeve, but I'm not sure sleeves are supposed to hug a computer this snugly. Consider going up to a 17".

On another note, the bumper feature is pretty cool and the zippers run smoothly. The material seems very durable and able to keep my computer safe in a backpack surrounded by books.

After being so worried about the size of this product, I decided it was my duty to report on it's quality once I had received it. The sleeve fit my macbook pro 15" absolutely perfect. The fit may be snug, but by no means do I see myself having to force my laptop in. The color is awesome and the quality of the bag is, I'm sure, up to standards with most laptop sleeves, but I haven't tried it out yet so I have no right for praise.

I really love the look of this sleeve. Based on the dimensions I had a feeling it would be too small, but I ordered it anyway, hoping it would have enough give. However, there is no stuffing the 15.4" Macbook in it. It gets in just beyond the zipper, but not much further. It appears very well constructed, and the colors are nice and bright. The neoprene is much thicker than I anticipated.

I looked and looked at laptop holders and had a hard time picking something out. I wanted to be sure that my current laptop would fit but I didn't want to rule out any potential future laptops I might get and what size they may be. So I thought this was a great size. Then I knew I was planning to put the sleeve into more of a tote type of bag so it was important to me that the zipper ran along the long side. I also liked the idea of the bumpers since I figured it would help buffer my laptop if dropped or not treated so gently. I also thought the bumpers would help in case your laptop wasn't the ideal size for the sleeve.
