The design is very cute and it seems like it will do a good job protecting my netbook from everyday bouncing around in my school bag. However, it only JUST fits the Asus EEE PC 1005HA. It is a VERY tight fit and I am scared the zippers will scratch the side of the netbook. Technically, this is a 10.1 inch netbook, which may explain why it doesn't fit in this sleeve designed for 7-10 inch netbooks. If there was an extra 1/2 inch of space, I would be more satisfied. So if you have a 10.1 inch netbook, you should look elsewhere for a better fitting sleeve.

I received this sleeve in about 3 days of purchase. I love the bright colors and it fit very nicely over my 10.1" netbook even with my large 6 cell battery.

This is just a great little laptop sleeve. I bought it for my Dell 9" Mini. I wish it was just a teeny bit smaller so it really snugged up to the laptop, but it really is a good fit. Built products are just amazingly well made for the price. The MicroDot pattern is great. Overall very very happy!!

Computer Used: I bought this item for my HP Mini 1000 10.2" screen netbook. This computer is very compact for a 10" mini so take that into consideration when reading this review.

Fit: When you first see it, it looks as if it's not going to fit because it's so small, but to my surprise, it fit just right. There isn't any distance between the edge of the netbook and the zipper when closed and there is no play inside... it stays snug. This is probably due to the shape of the sleeve, a feature dedicated to that purpose according to their website. A friend of mine tried it on her Dell Mini 9 and liked it. She decided to get one also.

Protection: The main reason I decided to buy this item was because I had stopped by a computer store beforehand where they had this same sleeve but for laptops 13" and up... I felt the protective cushion and was impressed. In terms of thickness, it felt far superior to any other sleeve I had tried. Unfortunately, the thickness on this version (10") doesn't seem to be as substantial as the one I saw in the store (it could be just me). That was a letdown, which is why I took away a star in this review.

Price: The Amazon price, including their shipping, makes it the best place to buy this item... better than the Built NY website or any other place for that matter.

Conclusion: For now it seems to work fine. It obviously protects against scratches and, as far as sleeves go, does a good job of cushioning the computer when inside a bag or whatever you carry it in. For serious protection, you would have to look into a carrying case with that shock absorbing air cushion. The carrying cases with the memory foam seem to be a bit cushier as well. All in all, probably one of the best sleeves out there. My only concern is that the website mentions that the sleeve will stretch to fit any sized netbook within the range it was designed for. I hope this doesn't mean that it will gradually stretch and become loose.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my snazzy new Dell mini 10. I decided to go with this particular model over the one with handles because I mostly need a case to protect my laptop when I throw it in my bag. It's perfect for this. I wanted to add my 2 cents to those who have the same model, and are looking for the best sleeve for it.

Pros
- perfect size/fit for the Dell Mini 10. Haven't thrown the charger in yet, but it looks like it will fit, if snugly.
- the laptop slides in and out easily, while still fitting snugly in the sleeve. No cumbersome process to get it in and out.
- it's purple! Someone else's (disappointed) review said this and it actually motivated me to get this design. My mini is purple.
- The Micro Dot design wasn't my favorite on the screen, but there aren't that many designs available in the 10 inch size. But "in person," with the purple background and details, it's fun and vibrant, and has really grown on me.
- good price for a neoprene sleeve of this size -- one of the best prices I found. Also available with Prime shipping, which was a must for me, and (admittedly) limited my choices.

Cons
- the only foreseeable con is the ties on the zipper seem slightly flimsy. I'm worried about them tearing with time, but that's kind of par for the course.
- if you want a lot of extra storage with your sleeve, this doesn't really offer it. I debated between this one and one with a pocket for the adapter, etc. but my mini gets enough battery power that I decided I didn't need it.

Look at the picture carefully; this only unzips along the short side. That works fine for me, but thought you should know.

Fits my thickest 10.1" netbook with a fat battery pack just fine - this "fatter" netbook won't fit some sleeves. That's good.

The "corner bumpers" don't add much if any extra protection; but they don't detract from protection either.

Overall a well made, decently priced netbook sleeve.

And ya gotta have one for your unpadded bags, right? Or if you have to put your netbook in an inspection tray through security.

I'd buy another....

I bought an HP Mini and when it got here I realized I had nothing to put it in. Everything in the stores were too big, so I did a little research. I love BuiltNY products so I searched for one small enough, found it on amazon, ordered it, and it fits my netbook like a glove! very good buy.

I bought this to protect my iPad with the zaggmate keyboard on it. It fits perfect with plenty of room for a small notepad, etc. I love the design (matches the one I have for my macbook) and it's "cushy" feeling to help protect against scuffs and thuds from carying your iPad around with you all day. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

As an iPad sleeve, this 10.25" X 12.5" (actual dimensions are listed as 8.75" x 11.4", so about the size of a sheet of paper) sleeve IS indeed roomier than is needed. Your lone iPad will definitely slide around in this case. However if you're an iPad owner like myself (which, chances are pretty high that you probably are), then you are looking for a trendy, well made item that serves as secondary protection for your iPad. This is it!

I was seconds from ordering a cute Belkin sleeve, when I caught this little beauty at the bottom of the Amazon page. The Micro Dot design is a little more muted in person, but the neon red/hot pink lining is amazing. My iPad, fully encased in its PixelSkin, glides in to this sleeve perfectly. With the wrap/cover on my iPad, the Built sleeve fits perfectly snug in the middle. There is a small bit of space at the top (an inch, if that), but this is definitely usable space for storing earbuds, a folding stand, USB cord, etc.

Great item, amazing price. No second guessing - just buy it!

This is a good netbook sleve that serves it function. Very well built and durable. I wish it had a small pouch or pocket for a USB, cord, headphone, etc... What I like is that this laptop sleve doesn't add bulk to an already small netbook. I mean afterall, is that the point of having a netbook in the first place.
