This product is great. The only problem is that my 15" widescreen laptop doesn't fit into the removable sleeve. I therefore use the sleeve for paper and just put my laptop next to the sleeve.

I have a few products from Built NY and was pleasantly surprised to find this laptop case... It is a bit small as some people say and I feel like I'm stuffing it full when all I have in there is my laptop (15 inch macbook), battery charger and cord... I do however think that for a no-nonsense laptop case that will not become damaged with water and can also be washed (I love that one) its a no brainer that its my favorite! It doesn't have a shoulder pad, but because of the design and "bouncing/shock absorbing" effect that it gives off it never needed one anyway! ^_^

I see why they were unloading these at a cheap price. Can barely fit a notebook. Threw it in the closet after trying. Don't waste your money.

I recently bought a 15 inch macbook pro and wanted a sleeve and a laptop bag. Rather than buying each of these items separately, I found this bag. I love the black exterior color and blue interior color! The sleeve has 3 pockets, if you'd like to store small things in the sleeve. I love carrying the laptop around in the sleeve when the weather's nice out, and I don't have to worry about my laptop getting wet. On the not-so-nice days, I'll put the laptop in the sleeve and then in the bag and zip it up to protect it from rain and snow. I think it's a gender neutral bag, and it definitely sturdy (thick zipper).

I bought this for my wife to use with her MacBook pro, and she was immediately disappointed with its lack of functionality, ie, lack of storage pockets, and ease of access to your notebook is non-existant. She also thought that while it was trendy, it was a bit bulky for a 13" laptop. She found a more functional but still "cute" looking one at Target for about the same price.

Too hard to get laptop in and out of case, even though it is smaller than largest size it is supposed to accommodate. I returned it.

As all Built products, this laptop case is made of superior materials. My only comment is that due to the case's shape it does resemble a ladies bag (my wife loves it).

My 15 inch Macbook Pro eventually fits this bag perfectly, although it seems like it's a tight fit until you pull out the insert and see how it works. I think my bag was packed with the insert facing the wrong way. The fit seems much better when your computer is facing the front and the part of the insert that hold the accessories is facing the back. Great bag for when I don't need my whole briefcase and very comfortable. Definitely worth the $17.99 I spent on it! Does have a bit of a new-neoprene smell to it, hopefully that should wear off soon. One star off because it's a bit of a struggle getting the computer in and out, and for that smell!, but definitely a worthwhile purchase.
