5.0 out of 5 stars highly recommend this Built NY product
I have several other Built NY items, and my good luck with those items prompted me to make this purchase. This 32oz bottle tote attaches nicely to the rolling tote bag that carries my work everywhere I go, and my Sigg 1 liter bottle (which I carry 24/7) fits perfectly into this 32 oz Built NY holder. I just washed my Built NY striped lunch tote for (probably) the 10th...

3.0 out of 5 stars it's ok
I wanted to carry around my sigg on my belt, so i got this guy. It's ok as long as you aren't wearing a backpack as well. With the location of the belt loop, the bottle sits a bit higher on my waist than I'd like, and gets in the way of the backpack sitting nicely on your back or gets in the way of your arms if you wear it on the side. I know it's made that high to...

I got this for use with a Klean Kanteen and it works well but is a tight fit for the large 40oz bottle. It provides great insulation to keep liquid cool but the neoprene fabric really stinks. All the health benefits I may have gained by not drinking from plastic may be lost to inhaling toxic synthetic fumes.:) Also the seam on the bottom makes the bottle slightly unstable when set down on a flat surface.

With the location of the belt loop, the bottle sits a bit higher on my waist than I'd like, and gets in the way of the backpack sitting nicely on your back or gets in the way of your arms if you wear it on the side. I know it's made that high to keep the bottle stable, but I think it still wouldn't swing around if the belt loop was a tad bit higher on the holder. And the loop latch thing sucks - awkward and weirder than i thought it'd be. Maybe a cinch top would be better? I do like the material though.

so all in all, it's ok.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does a good job without being too bulky, June 4, 2007

(REAL NAME)
One big problem I had with my water bottle is that when you fill it with ice, within a few minutes, it is creating a puddle wherever it sits. This is a nice tote/insulator, because it eliminates that problem without creating a bulky shell for the water bottle to sit in. Built NY's design holds and insulates the water bottle, yet still allows you to use and drink from it. The patented locking mechanism is a circle of velcro with a snap-lock in the middle, but does feel secure, and there is that crisp "snap" when the snap-lock is engaged: a good sense that it can hang it on about anything and will hold. There is also a handle/loop on the back that runs the height of the bottle tote, if you wanted to string something through it (perhaps a belt). Money well spent!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works OK, April 9, 2009
I purchased this for a 40 ounce Kleen Kanteen. I prefer not to use ice in my water but in order to maintain the cold ice is a must with this insulator. Keeps the bottle protected very well from scatches and dings. Easy to clean fabric.

3.0 out of 5 stars Product great, company not so much, June 26, 2007
I ordered a 2-pack, but only received one. Upon contact with the company, nothing was done to get me the second one. So, I was charged for 2, but only given one without an explanation.
