The semi-rigid insert gives additional protection to this sleeve. It fits my Dell mini 10.1 with a little bit of extra room. I put the charger into the second section behind the insert. I don't like the bulge it creates but it does keep everything in the same sleeve.

The style is subdued - it has a nice shape created by the insert, fresh blue color inside, and inconspicuous black on the outside. It's like the type of business suit I like, professional and standard on the first look, but a bit different when you look closely, just enough hint that the inside might be more than what first meet the eyes.

This product is great, but I don't believe there is a "pocket" to put anything in. I would prefer a pocket that I can actually use and carry around a mouse/power cable in. I have a 10" laptop and it fits perfectly. I like the design and the look of this case. I think it's worth the money.

I definitely recommend the built netbook case. It provides a study, protective shield so you can toss it in your bag without worrying about the netbook inside. It remains sealed so its protected from the elements if you get trapped in a rainstorm. And most importantly, well maybe not most..., the bag looks good. The main thing lacking from this case is a secondary sleeve or a place for power cords. other than that I am pretty satisfied with this bag.

I ordered this case for my new Ipad because it looks so nice. It is very nice, but it is a little big for the iPad. Other than this, it is a great product.

I was really happy with this laptop sleeve, which I use for my Asus Eee PC. It's very sturdy and well made, and does a good job of protecting my laptop. It's also really cute if you care about that. I love all BuiltNY products.

I bought this for a lenovo s10e, but have ended up using it for an Asus eee 1000HE. The eee fits snugly, so much so that it's more compact when I pack the machine in the hoodie than when I use the sleeve that came with the netbook. The sleeve has two compartments separated by a semi-rigid shell - one for the laptop and one for laptop related sundries. With nothing in it the extra pocket takes up no additional space, but it can be filled as much as if you had an additional sleeve. I've put both a 10" and 9" asus in this sleeve at the same time (one per pocket), and it handled it without any trouble. Sufficed to say there's plenty of room for a power supply, mouse, or whatever else you might want to carry. I've used several sleeves, including another from Built for my 15" macbook pro, but this is by far the most functional and compact I've owned.

It's also the coolest. The hood closure is really clever, works well, and often earns a comment when I take the case out in front of company. It goes over the component pocket before the laptop pocket, so it keeps any cables and dongles safe from being accidentally droppped. The splash of color inside just looks good. It's sort of like a stylish jacket for my laptop.

Within the hoodie, there is the primary compartment for the device. Separating the two compartments is a firm tray, which is shaped to protect the device. With the hoodie pulled back, there's a pocket behind the tray where instructions or other things can go without scratching the device. Because the fabric is stretchy, it seems there's always room to put more into both compartments.

I bought this for a 9" portable DVD player. The player is not as long as the hoodie, so there's room for the remote in the remaining space. Because the fabric is stretchy, there is no issue with the player being thicker than the hoodie.

My husband squashed his first Kindle's screen, even though it was in a heavy leather cover. I purchased this case as an additional layer of protection for the next Kindle, which so far is unscathed. It's a little roomier than I would prefer (since it was not made to hold a Kindle), and the hard side of it could be a little more sturdy.

Overall, it was a good purchase. I have a few different Built items, and they all serve their purpose and are holding up well over the years.

- A snug fit for my Samsung NC10 (so it should fit all other 10 inch netbooks.

- Haven't used the pocket for accessories that is built in so I'm not sure if it works well.

- No strap so it's only meant for light protection and will need to be put in a bag or carried by hand.

I love Built, I have the whole Dot set by them. The Laptop set, the Case for holding my Wires and external hard drive, and other items. What I like most about this case is that no matter how many times you stretch it by adding items in the back of it, it always bounces back when the items are removed. I keep my extra battery in the back pocket of this case and my mouse, and have had no problems at all with the case. I take out my laptop and sit it on my case on my lap at night and it keeps the heat from the laptop off my legs but has not and probably will not ever overheat it.
