The MacBook Pro 15.4" fits in this bag with a some room to spare. Love the colors, the neoprene is reasonably thick, and the strap is padded. Roomy exterior pocket, definitely large enough to hold the charger and a few other small items.

I was looking for a laptop bag that was slim enough to put into another bag & also had a handle/strap to tote solo. This fits the bill. The shoulder strap & clasps seem study--I have not had any problems.

My only concern for others is that this is advertised as a 15.4" portfolio: I bought this bag for my 15Z Dell Inspiron...which is 15" and fits very snugly in this bag (you can see the sides of the bag curve in--that's where there is a tight fit). It takes some effort to get my computer in & out of the bag.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

This is a nice bag. I bought it for my Dell Studio 15. It fits like a glove and matches the plum/purple color of the Dell perfectly. I have had it for about 6 weeks and with daily constant use it has done well. The stitching on the zipper has pulled a littrle but has not torn.

I have an HP Pavillion dx6000 (widescreen, about 14.5" long and 10" high when closed). My old, clunky laptop case began to fall apart, and I had a hard time finding neoprene-typed cases locally (even at the giant electronic chains where my coworkers said they got theirs 1-2 years ago): I REALLY needed something with a strap and at least one pocket. So, I did some research and read positive reviews about Built products. My laptop case just arrived, and now I feel a little better about spending ~ $50: this is EXACTLY what I was looking for in both size and quality.

The material is lightweight yet thicker than I expected. The stitching looks strong, and overall it seems very sturdy without being bulky. I slid my laptop in, and there IS a little bit of give at the bottom, so I'm wary of just how secure and protected my laptop will be, (notice in the picture how it curves out in the corners on either side). Even though my laptop is a little smaller than 15.4", it slides in nicely without being too snug or too loose.

I think the "Micro Dot" pattern is fun without looking too childish or obnoxious. My last case was your basic black (boring!) and had Velcro on the outer pockets (which snagged clothes when they got in the way, and stopped adhering after a few years of use, so opening the case would result in items sliding out). This has a nice dark plum background that lets the multi-colored dots (light cream, red, orange, pink, fuchsia, light blue, green, lavender/purple) stand out. The dots get larger and smaller within the lines, so you don't get dizzy looking at so many dots. There is a zipper with red contrast material on the inside. The outside flap has two buttons that can snap on and off so you don't squish any documents you want to carry but can still secure them.

So, overall I'm pretty excited about this laptop case, and at this time would recommend it to others.

I love this bag! The color is beautiful...classy. I had a big roller bag before this. I love that it is compact and I can just grab my laptop and charger and go -almost like a purse!

I fell in love with the Built Micro Dot print at first sight. After reviewing several items from other manufacturers, I truly believe that Built has the best items on the market. The Microdot has several dots in a rainbow of colors placed close together. The piping and strap are purpleThe Dot No 7 has a brown background and the dots have more space in between. But enough about fashion, this little item really gets the job done. I like the curve that adds space to the corners. These provide added protection. I purchased every Built item I could get my hands on. I would advise measuring your computer first. I have a 14.1" Sony Vaio, and I think it fits quite well with little room to spare. Depending on how big your mouse pad and speaker bars at the top, this size may be a tight squeeze for a 15 inch or larger. My item arrived quickly from UPS. A great transaction all around.

Bought this bag for my HP Laptop which is about 14.1 inches. My laptop fits in nice and snugly. The front pocket is nice to keep a few papers but don't expect to be able to fit an entire book in there. The fabric is durable and the biggest reason why I bought this bag was for it's weight. It weighs practically nothing! I love it. It's not bulky and great for when you're on the subway. Fits right on top of your lap and doesn't knock into people.

I had a similar Built carrier for my netbook, but since I upgraded to a 14" laptop I needed a new case. This one works great for it, and includes an outside pocket for cords and mouse. I can throw my stuff in it and go. There's enough room for papers and other whatnot too.

I have been very happy with this bag. Nice colors and it fits my 15" MacBook Pro perfect with some room to spare. And I have a Speck cover on my laptop, so it doesn't slide in/out as easily as without the cover, but it still fits and I can carry a mouse & power cube in pocket. I've also been able to fit a small 3 ring binder in with the mac - it was a tight fit, but not too bad. All in all I would recommend this bag.

Overall the bag is fine, and meets the description, however my strap broke within 3 weeks of purchase. The tie to the strap is where the problem lies -- made of thin material, not appropriate for a laptop bag. Funny thing is that my laptop is a really small-- under 11 inches, and super lightweight. Also I do not carry any cables, mouse or anything heavy in my bag. Still the disappointing results.
