5.0 out of 5 stars Clean and happy
I have found these to be the best bibs around. My little one loves to not only eat her food but also her bib. Other plastic-y bibs just spill the mess when twisted by liitle hands but this one holds on. Also, easy to clean and comfy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and easy to clean, but not for an active baby
This bib is much more comfortable for the baby than a plastic bib. I agree with the other reviewers that the neck hole is quite large (which can be fixed easily with the velcro closure) and the bib itself is very short. I have had it since my son was about 8 months old, and the pocket comes right at the level of the high chair tray-which then smashes the pocket shut. It...

3.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and easy to clean, but not for an active baby, July 12, 2008
This review is from: Built NY Tidy Bib (Baby Product)
This bib is much more comfortable for the baby than a plastic bib. I agree with the other reviewers that the neck hole is quite large (which can be fixed easily with the velcro closure) and the bib itself is very short. I have had it since my son was about 8 months old, and the pocket comes right at the level of the high chair tray-which then smashes the pocket shut. It is a very good length for the travel type high chair/booster seats though. For a cloth bib, it cleans very well. I clean it by rubbing it with a soapy washcloth and rinsing. It dries by the next feeding. It has pilled with this cleaning method, but that doesn't bother me. So far nothing has stained it, which is impressive. I didn't find just rinsing it to be a very effective way to clean it. My biggest problem with this bib (and many others) is the velcro. The pocket doesn't stay shut and my son can easily rip the bib right off when he is tired of wearing it. Banana also got on the velcro the first time we used the bib and it is still there many cleanings later. I would not buy this bib again mainly because of the velcro. Snap closures would have been much better.

Wow, do I disagree with them being easy to clean!!! A great size for the overall bib, but gigantic neck hole for little babies. they sure look cool though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sadly not the same as the original, August 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
About a year ago I purchased a bib made by Built. It was turquoise -- I think it came in pink as well -- and I have used it almost every day since we started my son on solids a few months ago. It was great for a number of reasons: small enough to not distract him from eating; not made of a material that made him want to play with the bib instead of eating; easily hand-washable; and it dried quickly. Anyway, last week I ordered this Built bib, thinking it was the same bib in a new color. The fabric has been changed from the original neoprene to something rougher that is trickier to wash and dry. Built -- please bring back the old version!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bib For Meal Time, April 12, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I really like this bib. It is nice a thick so it protects my son's clothing since he's still working on mastering getting his food into his mouth on every try (he is 10.5 months old). It is on the short side, but it actually works well with his height and the strap of the highchair, meaning that it does not have to be "tucked-in" like some of the other bibs I have for him.

I also like the color combination (green / black). I never realized how few black back bibs there are out there! Seems like a logical color choice since unavoidable food stains don't show, although I do not think this fabric would stain even in another color ... I also like that the pocket is shallow so that I can easily see the little pieces that missed his mouth and it's not like sticking my hand into a "black hole" of mushy surprises...

I do put it in a little mesh bag when washing as I do with all of his bibs since Velcro is a master pick up artist and just can't leave the washing machine without a sock or two in its grasp...

3.0 out of 5 stars still looking for the perfect bib, April 14, 2008
These bibs are cute, and have a nice design, but they are too small for even my 1 year old (way too short). I have a blue/green and a black/green bib - and they get so fuzzy when washed (I wash them in loads with towels, so maybe I should change that?) I think that the best features about these bibs is that they do not allow food/drink to soak through and the bottom "lip" for catching food. Overall, if the bib was longer it would work better, at least for my son.

4.0 out of 5 stars Skeptical at first but now a believer, January 9, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
So who would have thought that this bib would be such a great buy. I though the pouch would be more like a gimmick but boy was I wrong. This has to be one of the best baby bibs that I have bought. I really wish it came in more colors as I would have purchased a rainbow of colors. This bib is much more comfortable than the plastic ones you find around and if I had to knock it for something I would for the velcro. I am just not a fan of velcro on anything that has to go in the wash machine.

1.0 out of 5 stars Chemical smell and horrible pilling, October 29, 2011
After the first wash, these bibs smelled like gasoline. Furthermore, they pilled up with fuzz and looked terrible. They are stiff and will not lay flat at feeding time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not waste your money, August 27, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this bib for my 5 month old daughter because I wanted a solid neutral colored bib that would go with some of her outfits that have black and green in them. However, I was very disappointed with my purchase. It is very uncomfortable on my baby to wear. The material is so thick and it is not very flexible at all. I would not purchase this item or recommend it.
