Rafidah Abdullah's first screenplay was GOL & GINCU in 2005. She has also written dozens of scripts for TV, where she has also been co-host of the long-running program for young women, 3R.

Amir Muhammad is a writer, publisher and occasional movie-maker in Malaysia. He set up Matahari Books in 2007 to publish non-fiction and film-related books about Malaysia.

Amir Muhammad (born 1972) is a Malaysian writer, publisher and occasional movie-maker. He has been writing for the Malaysian print media since the age of 14. His films and documentaries have been shown in many international film festivals including Sundance and Berlin. Two of them, THE LAST COMMUNIST and VILLAGE PEOPLE RADIO SHOW, are banned in Malaysia. He set up Matahari Books in 2007 to publish non-fiction and film-related books on Malaysia.
