Soft looking light not like a regular light bulb,

This light bulb was kind of expensive (compared to a regular bulb) but I needed an authentic looking gas light on our front porch (our house was built in 1928). This doesn't exactly look like gas but it creates a soft diffused light that is so much better than a regular light bulb. I'm curious to see how long it lasts however... can update with that info when I find out.
