The designs, color, and black and white vintage photos in this book are remarkable and every page dazzles with style, design and rare stones.
The amount of skill and and artistry required to create pieces of jewelry of this caliber is staggering and these pieces are proof that mere mortals are capable of amazing things.
While I don't wear large pieces of jewelry and only have a few sizeable brooches that I wear on overcoats or thick sweaters to give them a bit of zing, there are pieces in this book that just scream 'Let me at 'em!' if only to hold them and see the light play in these gemstones.
What a feast for the eyes this collection is! And, you get information about the house of Bulgari and their top designers, so it's educational, not just decadence!
A confectionary indulgence with zero calories and even less guilt!
