This is the second book by Mr. Kessler I have purchased. The other was an excellent book- "How to Paint realistic military figures". The author has been able to condense much of that book into this one and added chapters on painting and weathering armored vehicles, and on making groundwork and buildings. This is a good general book about the specific subject of military dioramas, and if it is your first, it might be a good starter. It is a little more up-to-date than Shep Paine's "How to Build Dioramas" but I found Mr. Paine's book more inspiring and more creative in its approach.
