Excellent Conceal Carry Option, July 17, 2008
I purchased the small Bulldog fanny pack because I live in Florida and always found it difficult to find good way to carry concealed due to the light clothing worn most of the year. This pack solves that problem. When looking around the net there is not much information on these packs so here is a bit and maybe it will help someone out.
The small pack is good for Walther PPK/s and smaller guns. I did manage to get a Glock 21 into the smaller one, but the barrell buldged out of the side. So for anything bigger than a PPK/s get Bulldog's bigger Pack. The width of the gun does not matter, but the overall length is what will determine if you can use the small pack or the large.
One bad thing about these packs is that there is no instructions as to how to best put the gun into the holster part of the bag. Also there is no dedicated place for spare mags that are easy to reach. (I may modify mine to fix this) Some trial and error and you should get the velcro holster parts to snuggly fit your gun and make it easy to get access to and even reholster it if need be. I recomend cutting off the "Bulldog" tag on the front as to not advertise that you might have a gun. The fanny pack alone might do that, but I found that only gun enthusiasts seem to recognize that the pack might carrry more than my spare change. Your average person really doesn't have a clue.
If you can over come the "fag-bag" stigma (which I don't give a crap about personally) then this bag does the job of concealed carry better than any other type I have tried. (Belly bands, Inside the pants holsters, pocket holsters...etc) It has quick access with the rip cord in the proper postion. It is hands free, worry free and easy to take off and store if you go into places that do not allow concealed carry (Federal Buildings, Schools, and Bars just to name a few in FL)
Also, you can not beat the price! Highly recomend this product.

Gets the job done, April 28, 2008
The pack is black even though the picture makes it appear charcoal grey in color. It features a ripcord that allows the pistol compartment to be opened instantly for a quick draw. It's an ambidextrous pack, with velcro straps that can be arranged for either left or right handed draw. The medium-sized pack is a perfect fit for my CZ P-01 semi-automatic with 4" barrel. There are separate compartments for wallet, keys, etc. My only real complaint is the lack of an instruction manual. Unfortunately, using the pack is not quite as self-explanatory as Bulldog apparently assumes it to be. At least, it wasn't for me!

Good Product, January 3, 2012
A slight bit more bulky than regular hip packs but a good looking product nonetheless. I was hoping originally for something that would be a bit more inconspicuous, but am not disappointed with this purchase. I do not wear this out, rather at night when i need to go outside, or travelling into "not so nice" neighborhoods. Medium case fits XD 4" .40cal nicely, and fits in a way that i can have it out and loaded within a few seconds. Zippers are designed to rip open quickly in case of emergency. There is plenty of storage space for wallet, keys, and whatever else you carry in your pockets. Pros
- plenty of room
- aesthetics
- quick release zipper Cons
- bulky (although this may be ok for some, or for those that plan to use it regularly.)
