I found this book to be a nice refresher for an old Bullie owner. The photos are nice and wonderful suggestions. A condensed Bulldog book that hits the main topics and provides helpful ideas for training and more. Includes a short history section providing excellent examples of past Bulldog Champions and the distinctive breeders that helped to develop in the US. I would diffently recommend this book to all interested in the Bulldog breed, especially before the purchase of a puppy.

As a breeder I look out for bulldog books all the time, and this one is superb. Right from the inside cover (full color diagram of the breed standard) to the inside of the back cover (a really nice touch for first time owners, including a place to put their picture and to keep notes such as vaccination records) this book delivers 100%. Highly recommended for ol'timers like me and new bulldog owners alike!!

The cover picture alone would be reason enough to buy this book. The book itself, though, is a very good manual for bulldog owners and has lots of other pictures scattered throughout. A very good purchase.

Great book to have if your a Bulldog owner or if you just love the breed. I bought several Bulldog books before I brought home Meatball and this one is by far the best.

I mostly enjoyed the book, but needed more practical tips instead of not letting your English Bulldog kiss you on the lips. Like how to stop nipping and biting. Can you use a spiked training collar? How much exercise does a bulldog need? It would have been a great tip to let people know that most English Bulldogs do not know how to swim! I read the book cover to cover and not a mention of that! Had it not been for a Good Samaritan at the beach, I would have lost a very special and expensive member of my family. The internet site I looked at listed 5 things not to do with an English Bulldog, it was number one on the list and said Bulldogs can drown in a matter of seconds. Practical information for the new English Bulldog owner.

I love bulldogs. They more I can know about bulldogs the better. This book was very informative. It will tell you about the history of the bulldog to how to breed them. If you have plan on getting a bulldog, have a bulldog now, or just interested in bulldogs this book will have something that you will find interesting.

I give this book with every puppy I sell because I want my customers informed on the bulldog breed. I want them to know what they are getting into. Thank you so much for offering it at this price it works perfect for me.

I found this a nice introduction to the Bulldog history and basic care that could be for any dog. But I found "Bulldogs" by Hank & Carol Williams really know their Bulldogs. I had some diet problems and their book explains how Bulldogs eating is different then other dogs. Saved me money in food and veterinarian visits. Both books are good to have.

GREAT OVERVIEW OF PUPPIES IN GENERAL AND BULLDOGS IN PARTICULAR. I BREED BULLDOGS AND GIVE THIS BOOK WITH EVERY PUPPY.
