I added this remote to my older RS114 remote start. Even though it doesn't specify it for this system it works flawlessly. Nicer looking upgrade has better range and also looks to be waterproof and very durable.

I have searched all over amazon and the bulldog security web site for a replacemen remote starter button. i could not find one for my model remote start. so i took a chance on this one even though it didnt show my model number simply because it looked exactly like the one i have that does not work. and this one workes perfect. i had it programed in about 30 seconds.

Had to get a new remote because the lock/unlock button on the original broke. The new remote would work intermittently and finally I returned for another which has worked well so far. Great return by Amazon and I really appreciated the service.

I never liked the remotes that originally came with our RS114 remote starter. So when I saw this I knew I wanted to try it. As another person had commented, these remotes work perfectly with the older unit. Programming was very easy. On the RS114 you hold the brake through the whole process and just hold the start button on a working remote until you hear the parking lights flash once. Then push the stop button on the new remote. If it worked the parking lights flash 3 times which you'll hear from the relay clicking. Let off the brake and you're done. I like the rubberized finish on these remotes and they're easy to hold. My only real complaint would be the size of the unlock button which is really small and hard to push.

The graphics on 3 of the buttons on this remote are not *exactly* the same as on the buttons on the original remote for my Bulldog KE1702 Keyless Remote System... but once you program it, this remote does work exactly the same.

The programming instructions with this new remote did not work but the instructions with my old one for reprogramming did. This remote is of better design and quality than the remote that came with my locking system. The lock button opens the car now, and the unlock button locks it but that's no big deal. Bulldog customer service was quick and helpful when I e-mailed them.

Bulldog Security products are trash all around. I've had the KE150 Keyless Entry System for several years now, and never had any range on it. I found out years later that they shipped that model with the wrong remote. Since I already had the unit installed in my car, I wasn't about to remove it and ship it back, so I lived with it.

I have to put the remote within a few inches of the antenna wire and push the buttons several times to get any results.

I thought this new remote would offer improved range, but it doesn't. In fact, it's no different than the one that came with my system.

So I can only assume the KE150 was defective to begin with.

This new remote was easy to program it for my system though. Just hold the brake and press button #1 on the old remote for 5 seconds, then press any button on the new remote and let off the brake. Done.

Do yourself a huge favor and run from Bulldog Security products like the plague.

Also, the particular remote Amazon sent me has been opened by someone else before I got it. I can plainly see the factory crimps on the package have been broken. I don't enjoy getting someone else's trash.

This one is getting returned immediately. I gave it one star only because Amazon won't let me give it zero.

This remote is sturdy and rugged. I bought this as a replacement for the original bulldog remote, This is 100% better

thin thing will not work! i called tech support and you can not get ahold of anyone. so i sent it back for a refund!
