Good soundtrack, but I have a beef with one thing.,
This review is from: Bulletproof: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
I bought this soundtrack about a year ago. I remember wanting this soundtrack when I was a teen when I first saw this movie but I do have a gripe about one thing: A couple of songs on this soundtrack are edited when the cover clearly has a Parental Advisory label on it. The one song that I know that deserved the PA label was "The Show" from Wreckx-N-Effect, because that clearly had expletives, but the Rock remix of "Tres Deliquentes" from Delinquent Habits was a little edited, but then again, it's only one word that was. The other song that was edited was "Where I'm From (Don't Fight The Clean Mix II)" from Passion, Soul Deep, Rappin' 4-Tay, and Too $hort, though I think that was supposed to be a clean mix like it said. The unedited version can be found on Passion's "Baller's Lady" album. The other rap songs I think were supposed to be clean because I didn't hear any censors on the other ones. The rest were R&B songs.Despite my complaint, the compilation is a solid one. I highly recommend it to fans of Rap/Hip-Hop, as well as R&B.

"Bulletproof" is the distilled essence of good garage-rock.,

THIS is what rock'n'roll is supposed to sound like, kids. Ostensibly the soundtrack album to a spy movie of the same title, "Bulletproof" features driving guitars and drums, great hooks (especially on the first two tracks, "Turn Away" and "Cyclone"), and a firm committment to the garage ethos. This is the second release from the Mortals (their first, Ritual Dimension of Sound, is at least as good), and if CDs ever wear out, it will be the first of mine to do so.

Bulletproof is one of the funniest movies I've seen. The soundtrack is great for bumpin at a party or rollin down the strip. The album starts off with the theme song from the movie, Salt-n-Pepa's Champagne, then moves on to some very catchy toons with Tha 2 of Us and Where I'm from. Overall this is a good album that I would suggest to anyone enjoying R&B and HipHop.
