5.0 out of 5 stars Another Nicky Classic
One of Nickatina's best albums since Raven in my Eyes or Daiquiri Factory with dope lyrics and beats that slap. A must get for every Dre Dog (Andre Nickatina) fan. Nickatina is one of the most unique rappers ever to hit the scene with his own delivery style that can't be matched by any other rapper. 3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing Special....
This CD is ill, but not exactly what I expected to hear from Dre. A few bangers and some filler tracks; basically a typical CD release. Tracks 2, 3, and 5 are the hottest tracks in my opinion. Tracks 4, 11, 12, and 13 are decent. Track 8 has such a wack beat, that it's ALMOST cool. Everything else is pretty blah. Regardless, a good purchase for any hip-hop fan/cokehead...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album, February 7, 2008

This is a great album and the first and only album I have by Nicky so far. Just like any other album it takes a few listins to really get into this album but after you do you won't be able find an inadequate song. Some are better then others but they are all really good. Here is a review of each song:
1) Intro: This is just an opening done by DJ Luvva J not really that important
2) I'm a Junkie: This is a good song and the beat is really dope. The lyrics are great and Equipto really compliments Nicky's style. 9/10
3)Eye's of a Child: This song also features Equipto and it is another really good one. It gives some background on both of their childhoods and it is interesting hearing about it. I espically like Equipto's opening part. The beat is pretty sick to, I think quipto made it. 9/10
4) Nasty Like College Tricks: This is one of my favorites, I really like the fast pace of the song, the interesting lyrics, and the beat. 10/10
5) Andre-N-Andre: Another one of my favorites, this features Mac Dre who does a spectacular job and I really like his part, they both work really well together. 10/10
6) Caesar Enrico: This is a good song, I like it cause it is not about girls and drugs as much as other songs which is a nice change, his voice also has a more serious tone and it sounds really cool. 9/10
7) Heaven Thru the Backdoor: This is a decent song, but not the best in the album, the beat is okay but the song is really hurt by Krushadelic's part. I really don't like his voice. 8/10
8) At My Car: This song has a pretty wack beat and it is pretty cheesy but it's still decent. 8/10
9) My Wishes: I great song, the beat is tight and the lyrics are great, very poetic and complex at times. Equipto is also in this one. 10/10
10) Blood in My Hair: Another sick song with a interesting and cool beat. Nicky flows very well in this one. 10/10
11) 2 T-shirts N a Adidas Suit: Another good song with a fast paced beat and great flow. 9/10
12) 1 of the Same: This song does not have Andre in it at all. The rapper is B. Shaw, the song has one of the best beats in the album but it would have been better if Nicky rapped. Shaw say N***** every line which sounds stupid but he actually pulls if off pretty well. 9/10
13) Crakin Like Pastachio's: Cool beat, sounds like a circus at times. Another strong song with a strong beat that changes throughout the song. 9/10
14) Bonus: This is a really cool mix with snippets of the God's songs that sounds really sick. Done by DJ Pause who shows a lot of talent from the song. I like it cause it takes clips from song from a lot of Nicky's albums. 10/10
This album is great and very addicting. 9.5/10

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicky does it again.., November 30, 2005

Andre Nickatina formerly known as Dre Dog is hands down the best rapper from San Fransisco. A reformed (well not really) coke dealer and an underground legend, Nicky keeps it real as hell with his raps and with his fans when he's on tour. This CD is one of his best, along with Hell's Kitchen. If you like underground rap, definitely give this one a try. It's on the top shelf for me.

If you like Nickatina you will like this album. It definitely follows up his last album well and shows that Nicky can keep putting out bad ass new music. This album is one of my favorites!

2.0 out of 5 stars Strawberry soda, garlic bread, and steak., July 28, 2005
This review is from: Bullets, Blunts In Ah Big Bankroll (Audio CD)
First off that has to be the worst rhyme I've ever heard in my life... Andre Nickatina (in the rapping world) is one of the worst i've ever heard, but if you're into dope beats and his style in flowing with them (reminds me of someone on the ocean just being carried by waves, paddling every which way to stay with them), and what i mean by that is he tries to keep up with the pace and the beat and says (what feels like) every single thing that pops into his head from coke to what he had for dinner that night. But overall, "if you can't dig it like its shovelled man i guess you ain't able" summs this and the rest of the Nickatina c.d.s up.
