It's a good book. It's actually very short.
It's about the class and everyone is talking about the new kid that Hubie is getting in his class. They think the new kid knocked people's heads off, crashes into people on purpose, kicks people, and gives them wedgies. On Thursday, when Hubie walks around the corner, he bumps into the new kid. Hubie apologizes and the new kid is actually very nice. They make a deal that they will never bump into each other again.
You can't judge a book by its cover. You can't believe that someone is really mean unless you know them. If you don't know them. You don't know if they are mean, nice, curious, shy, or anything -- you don't know unless you know them. So you can't judge a book by its cover.
This book would probably be good for 8 or 9 yar olds that are usually in thrid or fourth grade.

This book might be scary for you. There is a new kid in the school. A boy worries that he might be a terrible bully. He might eat the teacher's pet. He might be able to be a whole football team all be himself. When they had art class he would take all the crayons. In the library he'll take all the books! Is he really a terrible bully or a good friend? Read this book to find out!

My 5-yr-old is in love with the Black Lagoon series, and he enjoyed this one, but loves the Custodian and Dentist the most from the "new" releases.

The Bully fromt he Black Lagoon is a great teaching tool. I use it in the beginning of the school year to help prevent bullying in my classroom. It is funny but also meanigful. My class loves it.

My six year old loves these black lagoon books. They are fun to read and keeps her interested in reading. Book arrived on time and in good condition.
