About the Author
"Bully Busting" has always been a vital part of John's self-defence program. He offers it to schools, community centres, the police service, and different organizations like the Girl Guides and Brownies.
He continues to provide his students (youths and adults) with hints on how to keep new bullies from bothering them (on the school grounds and in the workplace) as well as how to get rid of their existing bully. The "bully busting" techniques that he employs are based on what he terms "mental self-defence".
He has even applied several of those methods, along with other tactics, in the ring (he still competes and came 2nd in sparring at the Canadian Open Kung-Fu Championship in 1995 and 1996). He never gives his students or his readers something which he has not tested himself. This third book in the "Streetproofing for Kids" series is intended for youths, parents, and educators.
