I like several other found this watch in a store and promptly found it at half the price here on Amazon.

The wife ordered it for me and it came in only two days. The construction of the watch, and the feel of it is downright

outstanding. However, after only twenty minutes of wearing, I noticed that the face was slightly foggy. I took it off and

let it sit for several hours and came back to it and it was fine. I then wore it for one entire day, and it slowly fogged up.

I never got it wet, and I live in a very very dry climate.....central Alaska. I took it to the jewelers and they told me

that I should return it. Not sure if I will order another watch from Amazon or just purchase for the full price in store.

At least it would be under warranty.

**UPDATE**

I sent the watch back to the company I received it from. They sent me another watch that was broken (clasp wouldn't close).

Then, thinking I was smart, I sent the watch to Bulova themselves for repairs. I waited an entire month to receive the watch again.

Only to open the box to find a smashed watch. The crystal was broken, the bezel was scratched, the band was in poor shape.

I then called Bulova help desk and asked for an explanation. After getting a huge run-a-around, I asked to speak with a Manager.

The woman told me that he would say the same and refused to let me speak with one. I hung up and redialed and got a different person who

was a lot more kind. I explained to her that I have picture proof that the watch that I received was NOT my watch.

I requested a box to be sent to me. As of two weeks, I still have received nothing.

**UPDATE**

Finally received a working (new) watch from Bulova. After days of dealing with the service department I was finally granted the chance to speak with a manager. I never raised my voice or became rude during any of my conversations with any phone rep. When I spoke with the Manager, I explained to him what had happened, and what I had to deal with. He replied by telling me that what I had told him was nothing of what he had heard from any of this reps. He sent me a new watch the same day. I received the watch yesterday in the mail and am pleased to say that it is working properly.

I am very saddened with the low level of customer care, and incompetence of every tech I worked with. Even showing them the receipt of the watch, and pictures, and all else, I still had to fight to get a watch that was in the same condition as I had bought it in, new.

I doubt they will even read this review, but I would like to tell them that this is the first, and the very last time I invest in a Bulova watch.

This Bulova Men's watch came in excellent condition, box and watch, same condition I saw it at the Jeweler's with one exception, paid much less for it. It also arrived in perfect time frame. Thank you very much and I will always check your site before making purchases at any jeweler.

I bought this watch for my fiance for Christmas. He likes really nice watches like tag and movado but bulova was offering the copper face which he saw previously in a magazine and commented on. The watch is even more beautiful in person. A super neat feature is that when you look under the watch on the part against the wrist you can see all inside of it at the actual workings of it. He wears this watch every day. It is a nice size and is stunning on. He LOVES it. As far as the quaility, well, it's a bulova. It should work just fine.

This is a beatiful watch,the brown watch face is very different and I have received many compliments on it.Amazon provides fast shipment and by far the lowest price.This watch seems very accurate and is only a minute fast every 2 days which is very easy to correct.

The watch is great. The price was good too. No battery needed. Self rewinding.Nice and bigso my husband could see the time.

After weeks of researching watches for my boyfriends Christmas present I finally decided on one. Soon after, I ordered this watch for my boyfriend (2 days before Christmas). I was nervous that the watch wouldn't come in on time and the Christmas present wouldn't be able to be given until after it was all over. However, to my surprise the watch was delivered right on time (as promised by Amazon). The packaging it came in was handled with care and the Bulova watch inside was stunning. After seeing how beautiful the watch was, I couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to him. So... as he walked in the door from shopping I presented him with the watch.

His reaction to the watch was unforgettable; he acted like a kid on Christmas that has just opened up the one thing they really wanted. His eyes lit up and I don't think I have ever seen a smile that big. He really loves the way the watch looks and likes that he can see the internal workings of the watch (not to mention that he won't ever have to purchase a battery for the watch, saving him money).

He tried it on, the watch was a little too big, and we had to take it to the jewelry store to have a few links taken out, which only cost $5.00. The small price of $5 to have the links taken out was worth the priceless memory I gained from seeing the happiness on my boyfriends face after he saw his new Bulova watch.

1. I am not a watch expert.

2. After years of not wearing a watch, I was intrigued with mechanical (automatic) movements. I was looking for something that looked a little like a 'dress watch' for an upcoming wedding.

3. I think the watch looks better than the pictures. The polish is very high...very shiney watch. The window on the dial is a delight to watch, as is the open faced back.

4. In my limited < week experience, the watch keeps good time. Admittedly, after the first day, without a winder, the watch was dead in the morning. However; after setting the time and wearing it a full day...I took it off at 6pm, set it on the desk, then in the morning (8am) the time was still correct. NOTE: I am curious to see how this goes as the novelty wears off...ie. I think 'knowing' it is an automatic wind, I am making an effort to move my wrist....we shall see..but for now I am happy. Also, I do have a winder on order...cause I think I have caught the watch bug :)

Random Thoughts:

The watch will come with the band likely too large for your wrist...you will need to go to a jeweler to have it resized. For me, this cost $6, with the caveat that if I wanted to go tighter later, there would be no cost. On a related note: some jewelers give a little 'attitude' if you didn't buy from them...if you know anyone 'into' watches get a recommendation...just a thought.

There is no question that automatic self-winding watches have become the most popular types of watches that are coming around. But, Bulova has shown with all this time, they still know from up and down how to make a good self-winding watch, at a great price. This Men's Automatic 96A101, is a elegant stainless steel watch, that works very well with the display and also with the simple movement of operating only by hand and body movement. It really looks great in a braided stainless-steel silvertone. It is a great buy for anyone who is looking for the best in a men's watch, without the battery, just how the old-style watches used to be made. Bulova still knows how to do it best, and this is one watch I really recommend.

I have owned this watch for about one year now, and have been very happy with it. The build quality, fit, and finish are all superb. I was a little concerned with the accuracy of an Automatic watch before I got it, but am happy to say that it keeps very good time. I have to adjust it about once every 1-to-2 weeks, but overall it is not a big deal. The mechanism is very neat and I like the small view you get through the face.

As an added perk, Bulova is a brand with an interesting history.

I bought this watch for my husband and he loves it. It's cool because you have to shake it to wind it. Very nicely made!
