I bought this watch at Christmas because it looks so much like the Hublot Big Bang watch that costs $25,000. From a few feet away it looks identical and some friends thought that I was wearing the Hublot. It is a bit heavy but you would expect that from a watch of this size with a heavy rubber watch band. Some may find the band uncomfortable. It doesn't fit under some dress shirts so I typically wear it only when I dress casually. I do not think that anyone would be disappointed with this watch for the price (it is easy to find for much less that the $425.00 suggested price).

Quite a piece of work, heavy, thick, fine detail, very substantial rubber wrist band. This is alot of watch and your going to need a lot of wrist to wear it well. Now this is subjective but if your wrist is medium or less in diameter, this watch is going to swallow, for lack of a better word, your wrist. Also I didn't find the rubber wrist band very comfortable to wear. I found myself constantly adjusting it. It's also a struggle to get the thing off. That said, it truely is a impressive looking piece.

I bought this watch for my husband for Valentines day. He saw it in a magazine and commented how cool it looked. I thought I'd surprise him and ordered it. Not only was it about $100 less than ordering it from the Bulova site but the watch was beautiful and looks exactly like its image! I wish I could have captured my husband's face when he opened the gift. The only thing I had to do was set the time and wind it up so that the date matched...Thanks Amazon....came through again!!

Im really glad that i purchased this watch, it looks so much better than in the picture and a little bigger. Its incredibly beautiful, i've spent hours just looking at the thing, its just a master piece for only $210 thanks to amazon. The idea of changing the band for the Bulova 98b103 leather band is perfect, that makes it look even better. I love this watch!!!!

This watch has everything I have been looking for in a sport/casual watch including rose gold, roman numerals, chronograph, knock-out looks. I had checked it out at the department store and wasn't real pleased with the rubber watch band for the Las Vegas summer heat. I see others have commented the band also. This problem is easily solved. Order the band on the Bulova Marine Star Model Number 98B103 which is perforated black leather and costs under $[...] including postage directly from the Bulova parts department on the phone [...] and you will have a good quality watch that, as far as appearance goes, can't be beat at any price. Also, the leather band is about 1 1/2 inch shorter and much lighter for the slightly smaller wrist, and has a much nicer buckle with a more deeply engraved Bulova Tuning Fork symbol. The rubber band is huge and quite heavy. To sum it up, you can't go wrong with this Bulova watch.

I received this watch a few days ago and I am loving it. Very easy to set time/date and chrono. The rubber band is comfortable, and I like the rose-gold color case & bezel because it looks different than other gold-tone watches. It's also a nice change from all the industry standard stainless-steel color watches you see nowadays. I love Bulova watches and shopping at Amazon - you simply cannot go wrong with the low price/fast shipping combo.

*One thing that another reviewer pointed out that cannot be overlooked:

DO NOT buy this watch if you have a small-medium build and wrist. I'm 6'2 220 lbs. and this watch is BIG on my wrist. It looks great on me, but be advised before buying if you are a smaller guy as it will likely be too big for your wrist.

**Update 11/2011:

About 2 months after I recieved this watch, one of the chronograph hands fell off the dial and was tumbling around the inside the face. This was after normal use--gym running and casual wear only, no diving or swimming. I sent the watch back to Bulova, and to their credit they fixed it on time, however I had to front the shipping and insurance costs myself. I wound up selling it online once it was repaired.

For these reasons I cannot recommend the watch and I am no longer a Bulova customer, regardless if this was an isolated incidence or not.

This watch is wonderful, is one of my favorites and brand presence anywhere you go. It's a great watch with a rubber strap pleasant to use. Sensational cost-benefit considering I paid around $ 250. I recommend!

Ordered it for myself as an early xmas/bday gift and I bought it during the 'watch super savings and next day free shipping'...what a steal, I mean deal!!! Very satisfied with the purchase. I have been eyeballing this thing at the jeweler's for some time now. So glad I waited to purchase it for much less than the $425 that it retails for. It is a bit big, but I prefer my watches (face and band) that way. I did end up having to go to the jeweler to get the band adjusted just a tiny bit anyways and I do plan on purchasing the leather band from the 98B103 model just to give the watch some options...but overall...I love it!!!
