Nice watch. Large case, but not so big it looks like you are wearing an "arm clock" a la Flavor Flav. I was looking for a classic design divers watch, but did not feel it necessary to spend $1k or more on an Tag Aquaracer, Rolex GMT, or Omega Seamaster. Nor did I want a "cheap" copy. I have owned several Bulova watches. I like the name. I like the look. I like the price. I would definitely recommend this watch to others.

Pros:
- Solid stainless steel bracelet. (Does not feel cheap)
- For the price, the diver bezel rotates very smoothly.
- Decent lum
- Added diver clasp is nice to have.
- Good weight, and size. Doesn't seem overly massive like some diver watches.
- Just looks and feels more expensive then it really is.

Cons:
- The picture on Amazon is deceiving. The color blue is much darker and masculine in real life.


Overall:
I'm really satisfied with my purchase. It's a solid watch with good accuracy. If you want a quality constructed divers watch that looks good in either formal or casual occasions, this is for you. If you must have a big name Swiss made watch with automatic movements then look elsewhere.

I've wanted a good dive watch for a while but a Rolex Submariner or Omega Seamaster is way out of my price range. I started looking for something more affordable and the Bulova Marine Star line caught my eye. I was torn between this model and the 98C62. Both seem to be a cross between the Submariner and Seamaster, with this one a bit more like the Rolex and the 98C62 a bit more like the Omega.

The watch is beautiful in person and the pics here on Amazon don't do it justice. The blue is much deeper than in the pics, though not quite a navy blue. The middle of the band along with some accents on the face are shiny, contrasting nicely with the brushed case and outer parts of the band. The only thing I'd change about the look would be to put the date window in the 3 o'clock position but that's really no big deal. It's a good size, though perhaps a bit big if you have a smaller wrist, and there's enough weight to know you're wearing it without being bogged down.

Also, purchasing the watch though Amazon couldn't have been easier. The price was better than ebay and you still have a warranty so that gives some piece of mind. I got the watch within 24 hours of placing my order via Amazon Prime. I can't recommend this watch enough. I got a few compliments in just the first few days wearing it!

If you have any inclination whatsoever, go ahead and buy this watch. You will not be disappointed.

The watch looks terrific. As another reviewer remarked, the Amazon picture does not do justice to this watch. It looks MUCH better in person.

It is very substantial with a quality feel to it. I would happily pay the full MSRP of $275 if necessary, but I was able to get the watch for $150. It looks better than other watches I own which cost me five times or more the price.

The watch hacks,a pleasant surprise to me as I am able to set the time down to the second. Rotating bezel is helpful, but a bit difficult to maneuver at first. I'm not a diver, but I dont think the bezel would be easy to rotate under water with diving gloves, etc.

200m water resistance allows me to wear the watch while working in the yard (with the hose and water). I presume it would be no problem to swim with this watch. The screw down crown is also a nice touch at this price point.

This is a beautiful watch. If you are looking for a functional sport watch that looks great and wont break the bank, look no further.

The watch was a Birthday present. He liked it very much. The watch was very stylish and great to look at.

This is my first watch in many years. I recently bought an analog Timex which had water vapor appear under the crystal. Amazon was great about returning it. Same thing happened with the next analog Timex. Again, Amazon was great about the return. So, about a month ago I bought this.
This watch is exellent. The picture does not do it justice. For a more accurate depiction go to the Bulova website, the blue is much deeper and richer. I wanted a "James Bond" type watch but was not willing to pay thousands for it. I looked at mechanical watches but I don't want a "fussy" watch. The watch face is beautiful, the wave inlay really is a nice touch. The watch itself has decent heft to it, but not too much. The band is solid and unlike many metal bands this one does not tug the hair out of my wrist. It is a truly beautiful watch and I highly reccomend this.

I just bought this piece and as always Amazon's delivery was impecable. As most of the other reviews state the Blue face is darker and the pics dont give it justice. Heavy but not so much to be a negative. Acutally the wieght gives it a quality feel to it. Over all its a very versitile time piece elegant enought for black tie events yet casual enough for dinner and a movie with the wife.

I bought the watch to wear in place of my Rolex when traveling to Mexico and Central America. I wanted a nice looking watch with a quality feel, but one that would not break my heart (or the bank) if it were lost or stolen. The bottom line is that I have not worn the Rolex since this Bulova arrived three weeks ago. It is a great looking timepiece with a very substantial feel. I would buy it again.

I'd read others' reviews of this watch and I'm glad I did. The original picture of the watch at Amazon displayed the watch in a very bright blue color, while the actual color is nowhere near that bright. It's much darker blue than the picture showed. To make sure, I went to Bulova.com with the model number and their photo was much truer to the watch I received. It's just the right color blue, not too bright, not too dark.

I love wearing this watch! The weight and size all feel very good on my wrist. The offset date display (between the "4" and "5" markers on the face) is unique, and really makes the watch stand apart from the oh-so-common date displays at the "3" marker.

So far, the watch is keeping accurate time and, as a daily-wear watch, it remains comfortable on my wrist. I like the additional lock on the latch which makes me feel very confident the watch is stay on, especially whenever my hand is draped out my car window on a sunny day.

I change off between a Citizen Eco-Drive watch and this one, which always reminds me that I will, at some point, have to change the battery in this Bulova. I wish it had the same Eco-Drive feature as my Citizen so I'd never have to mess with a battery-swap, but for the looks and quality of the Bulova, I'll deal with it whenever it's time for a new battery. In the meantime, I'd highly recommend this watch as one that looks like it costs hundreds or thousands of dollars more than it does, and one you'll enjoy wearing!

Great watch the blue color was a little darker then the picture but it was fine anyway. I do not have any complaints.
