I just received this watch as a gift. It is first and foremost a great timekeeping instrument. The second hand is precise and lands and lines up correctly with each tick.
I like the screw down crown which gives added protection during water activities.
The hands and face of the watch have super bright illumination in the dark, making it very easy to read at night.
The rotating bezel is convenient and easy to use as a timer.
The look of the watch itself is sporty, polished, and dignified. Can be worn on a suit, with jeans, or even with shorts. An everyday watch with class.
The weight of the watch is a bit heavy but one gets used to it.
Other metal band watches have tended to pull the hair out of my arms. This watch, with it's metal band, has yet to do so. Fits very comfortably.
I'm hoping to wear this watch for years to come.

Received this watch for Christmas. I wanted to get an Invicta and may still get one in the future. Went to an outlet store and they had this watch marked down to $200. Compared it to the automatic Invicta and the Bulova feels like a higher end item. The band on the Invicta felt light and cheap. Have gotten compliments on the watch and someone even confused it for a Rolex.

This is simply a well built quartz watch that pays homage to the Rolex Submariner at a fraction of the price. Don't get me wrong. This is NO Rolex Submariner in any capabilities or quality likeness. But its very obvious that Bulova took some cues from the Submariner in the looks dept when making this watch. This watch is what is. A well built watch at a good price. For under $160.00 its not bad. These are selling at the malls for a higher price. The Invicta brand also makes some of their watches in homage to the Submariner. I purchased an Invicta at Costco. Within six months the crown fell out while changing the time. Invicta watches really lack in quality. This Bulova 98B131 is way above Invicta in the same price range. Overall Workmanship and quality is much better compared to other watches in this price range. The case and bracelet is a good size. Not too big and not too small. Weight is perfect. Not too light and not too heavy. Ofcourse unless you like heavy or very light watches. One thing Bulova can improve on this watch is the lume or lack of. Hard to see at night. You can wear this watch with anything. It makes an EXCELLENT daily beater watch if you dont want to wear your plus seven thousand dollar luxury watch. Get one. You will be impressed.

I found this watch after starting a search for a fairly inexpensive diving watch that was somewhat reminiscent of a Submariner but not one of the numerous homages and clones. I was hesitant about purchasing this timepiece because I'm typically not a fan of polished links on the bracelet and I thought that the wave pattern on the dial was too prominent. I'm really glad that I decided to get it, it the dial is understated, and the wave pattern is a lot more subtle than in the Amazon images. The placement of the date window between the 4 and 5 o'clock markers is unique and another characteristic of this watch that helps to set it apart. The band is solid and the polished links are a nice contrast to the brushed ones, and link removal is easy using the SE Adjustable Watch Band Link Pin Remover w/ 3 Tips JT63056 or any of the other similar ones available.

It has a pretty low profile compared to some of the other coin edge diving watches, but it has nice heft and is very comfortable. The watch has some weight but is very balanced on the wrist and doesn't feel heavy after extended wearing. It fits my 7.5" wrist very well, that's always a concern when buying a watch online, but you will be pleased with the diameter and case thickness if your wrist is similarly sized. The lume on the watch seems to be decent. I havent had it long enough to comment much on this aspect, but it has done well outside and in a dark bedroom. I set the watch against an atomic G-Shock and the Bulova seems to be very accurate.

Don't hesitate to buy this watch if you are on the fence, it's a great value and really looks amazing on the wrist.

Bought this watch because I couldn't stomach paying for a Tag. Love the look and it's a great size. I feel it is a great watch for the money.

After several months of purchase, I am very happy with this model. It is a watch that feels strong and look beautiful. Bulova is the house that invented the first electronic wrist watch. Today, quartz digital watches like this model are more accurate than the Bulova Accutron, or any mechanical clock as Rolex or Omega, so accuracy is not so important, but the history of the brand's first electronic watch that traveling to the moon is indisputable. This is a watch that have equally beauty, history, prestige, and is more accurate than any mechanical watch, with much lower price. It's a clock for smart people.

Hi! I own this type of bulova since two months already and i am very pleased of that. I had like a gift for my birthday and it is great. Is so comfortable is accurate and the illuminous point make it visible over night.

Unbelievable deal and couldn't be happier. The service was incredible, as well as the product. My husband picked out this product at Sam's Club when we were on vacation. I bought it through Amazon at a much better price and it was easy as can be.
