The Bulova Men's Marine Star Calendar Watch features a polished stainless steel band enhanced by a thin, gold-tone center stripe. A stainless steel case houses a crisp, white dial framed by a gold-tone stainless steel bezel that's enhanced by radiant diamonds and gold-tone screw-down accents. The dial's diamond hour indicators, framed by tiny gold-tone squares, and a Bulova logo at the 12 o'clock position speak to the luxury of this timepiece. Luminescent skeleton hands, black stick tachymeter markings, three subdials, and a date window at the four o'clock position complete this fine watch. The Bulova Story
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.
Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.
Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

I didnt expect too much from this watch, but I did expect to see diamonds. Yes, diamonds are expensive, but at the sizes we are talking about, they are fairly cheap. When I got this watch, the gold plating looked a cheap dip job and the diamonds looked more like diamond dust. Ive seen bigger flecks of reflective material in the road tar mixture they use for resurfacing streets. I returned this watch the same day I received it. Of course Amazon makes returns easy, which is very nice. The watch as a whole wasnt badly built, but if you want this style watch from Bulova, do yourself a favor and get the model without the diamonds, it looks better. With the diamonds, this watch just looks like your trying to run with the crowd that you simply cannot afford to run in. There is nothing wrong with choosing not to spend lots of money on a watch, its just a watch, but in this case, you will look much more respectable if it doesnt appear that were trying to imitate an expensive high end watch.Honestly, the version of this watch without the diamonds looks like a nice everyday watch, but with the diamonds and the cheap gold plating it looks like something you would get from a street vendor in NYC for 25.00. Do yourself a favor and keep browsing.
