Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bulova Reflex Alarm Collection Clock B6973 (Watch)
In 1999, I bought a clock like this (exactly the same model). It worked perfectly. It was very well finished and resisted to several accidental falls. But, unfortunately, the last one broke the LCD display and I think there is no replacement for that part.
So, I decided to buy another clock of the same model. What a deception!
The very first impression was not good: the box is made from cheap carton. Visibly, it doesn't match to Bulova's reputation.
Once I opened the box, the deception increased. Compared to the former one, this clock is so poorly finished. The difference is quite evident, both for looking and for touching.
The worst was yet to come: the product was deffective. No display at all. Nothing, just a blank screen. So, I had no choice: I just returned it to the vendor (and I must say that Princeton Watches was so kind).
I rated it one star because Amazon doesn't allow zero star.
What I really can't understand is how a very prestigiuos company such as Bulova may be caught in a trap like that. If the clock costed twice the price, but kept the original quality, they would not have many problems in selling it. But, after this experience, I will think twice before to buy even a wrist watch from them.
