This elegant tank-style watch from Bulova has sophisticated styling that makes it perfect for both professional and casual wear. Sleek silvertone hands and bar markers adorn the crisp white dial, which features a sweep second hand and a date window at the six o'clock position. The dial is framed by a rectangular polished steel bezel and presents on a textured black leather strap that fastens with a buckle closure. Other notable features of this watch include precise quartz movement and a curved scratch-resistant crystal. This watch is water-resistant to 30 meters.
The Bulova Story
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.
Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.
Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

I ordered this watch as a gift for my wife. She wanted a silver-tone watch with leather strap, which was extremely difficult to find in local shops; thank goodness for Amazon! The watch was exactly as described, perhaps even better! It is quite bright, not the dull grey pictured. I think any woman looking for an understated, classic, yet distinct watch would enjoy this Bulova.

My husband gave me this watch as a gift and I am very pleased with the style and slim design. Initially, it was a little difficult adjusting the date, but after I figured out how to do it, I was even more pleased. I love it.

I bought this watch as a gift for my wife. Nice fit and finish and my wife loves it. The only complaint is that there is too much effort to set the date, especially with the small handle. If that is a concern, I would suggest finding another watch with no date.
