The Bulova Women's Diamond Dial Chronograph Watch #96P006 achieves a sleek, ultra-modern look with its smooth, silver-tone etched bezel and tapered stainless steel wrist bracelet, which beautifully complement the round, mother-of-pearl dial. Seven genuine diamonds pair with silver-tone indices to bring understated yet elegant touches. Three subdials offer chronograph functionality for superior timekeeping, and a date calendar sits at four o'clock. Arabic numerals and bar markers are etched into the bezel for a streamlined look and easy timekeeping. Like every Bulova watch, this one is built to last with top-quality materials, anti-magnetic and shock-resistant construction, and the unique, scratch-resistant Dura-Crystal. It is powered by Japanese-quartz movement and is water resistant to 99 feet.
The Bulova Story
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.
Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.

This watch is both a classy and attrative watch, with a bling thrown in. The size of the watch is perfect for a woman looking for a substantial watch without being bulky. The diamonds are small enough that it doesn't feel like you are wearing major bling, but they do add a touch of sparkle to the watch. The band is a good size and does not overwhelm my wrist. Now, I just need to figure out how to use the chronograph features!

An unusual, beautiful, modern, and sophisticated watch. Unlike the other reviewer, I had no problems with the watch being too small to fit over my hand (which is not petite either.) In fact, I had to have two links removed to fit my wrist. This is a bracelet band that has a deployment (or dual clasp) closure which makes putting on and taking off the watch a piece of cake.
The face of the watch is not a blue mother of pearl as pictured. Rather, it is a mineral pearl but has a lot of dimension and variation of color in the light. The seven diamonds sparkle without being too flashy or gaudy. The band is modern and the stainless steel really shines on this watch, it is not a matte finish as pictured in the photos. The functions are very easy to set and the watch is easy to read. In summary, the watch is much more beautiful than pictured in the photo. I have already received many compliments on this watch and highly recommend it!

The watch was OK, and it arrived very quickly from the seller. My biggest complaint is that the band is tiny. I am an average sized woman and I could not get it over my hand. I was able to try it on my 10 year old daughter, with not much room to spare. Unless you are very petite, the band on this watch probably won't fit.
