Silvertone hands and baton markers adorn the pearlized white dial, which also features a sweep second hand and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is framed by an elegant round bezel that holds 16 pavé-set diamonds. A steel cabochon crown capped with a black stone provides the final distinctive touch. The watch is set in a polished steel case and presents on a beautiful link bracelet in brushed and polished steel that fastens with a jewelry clasp. Other notable features include precise quartz movement and a scratch-resistant mineral crystal. This watch is water-resistant to 30 meters.

The Bulova Story

In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.

Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

Gorgeous, cleanly designed watch; the term "subtle sparkle" couldn't be more appropriate. Bought as a gift and was very happy that the real thing looked even better than the photos.

I picked this watch out for my husband to purchase for me, I was weary as I saw there was a review regarding sizing. I have a small childlike wrist (5.5 inches) and was worried it wouldn't be able to be sized down. Not only did it size down perfectly but it doesn't overwhelm my wrist like most watches do! I love it and couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful and classy!!!

Do not buy this watch unless you know for a fact it will fit a particular women's wrist. Bulova does not offer a half-link for this watch. It is the first watch my wife has every run across that cannot be sized to fit her average sized wrist. Bulova's Customer Service was terrible in terms of trying to resolve the issue. Terrible experience. Buyer Beware!!!!!
