Keep close track of the lunar phases with this unique Bulova stainless steel women's dress watch, which features 14 tiny diamonds set into the sides of the barrel-shaped Tonneau bezel. As a counterpoint to the sparkle, the dial offers a lustrous white mother-of-pearl background with luminous-tipped silver hour markers, black-outlined luminous hands (with seconds hand) and two silver subdials displaying day and date. It also includes a delightfully illustrated moon phase dial that sits above 6 o'clock. The silver stainless steel bracelet band is composed of polished, thin rectangular links, and it's joined by a deployment buckle. This precise quartz timepiece also features a scratch-resistant mineral crystal and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet).

The Bulova Story

In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.

I have 2 other Bulova watches which I love, but this one is my new favorite! It is a little on the big side, but not monsterous even on my small wrist. The diamonds are a nice touch- not overpowering but just adding a little sparkle. The mother of pearl face looks beautiful in the light, and I like the moon feature too. This is a high quality, classy watch that retails for $550.00 in stores and even online. If you are debating about whether or not to get it, don't hesitate. Amazon has it priced lower than any other site. I can't wait to wear this watch just as soon as I have a few links taken out.

I purchased this watch as a wedding anniversary gift for my wife. The large face is unique with a moon phase display and diamond accents. The metal band has the adjustable clasp for fitting purposes. Overall, the brand and price is worth the purchase.
