The Bulova Women's Marine Star Calendar Watch #98P006 is a luxurious take on the diving watch, with superior, ultra-durable build and sumptuous details -- not least of which are the ten genuine diamonds marking the hours on the crisp white dial. Gold-tone hands with luminous accents pair with small black indices and luminous square accents for easy and accurate timekeeping. The brushed, polished stainless steel, two-tone bezel is engraved with black numbers and indices for a bold, sporty look. A two-tone stainless steel bracelet, along with a stainless steel case, offer handsome durability. Like every Bulova watch, this one is built to last with top-quality materials, anti-magnetic and shock-resistant construction, and the unique, scratch-resistant Dura-Crystal. It is powered by Japanese-quartz movement and is water resistant to 330 feet.
The Bulova Story
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.
Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.
Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

This is a beautiful watch, very solid construction. It was packaged well with protective covers on crystal and clasp areas, and the watch comes mounted around a "pillow" in it's box. The bracelet is long, but all watches are that way... I removed 3 links myself with a link tool... the links that can be removed are marked with an arrow on the underside... very easy to do. Overall, a very classy looking watch that I am proud to wear.
