The silver stainless steel bracelet band is composed of polished, thin rectangular links. This precise quartz timepiece also features a scratch-resistant mineral crystal and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.

The Bulova Story

In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.

Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

I received this watch for Christmas from my husband and absolutely love it! It is far more beautiful than the picture shows. The face is a much lighter pearly pink than the picture shows (which is a good thing)and is absolutely lovely. The diamond accents sparkle nicely and lend a sophisticated look to the watch without making it look overly flashy. This is an incredibly sturdy watch and holds up well to daily wear and tear as well as the curiosity of my two year old. So far there's not a ding or scratch on it. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the stiffness of the band. I went to have the band sized and the jeweler had an especially difficut time re-adding a link after she took out one too many and commented on how she had never seen such a stiff band before. I've gotten used to it, but it makes getting a really good fit almost impossible. That being said, it really is a lovely watch and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful everyday watch.

This watch is very attractive,with it's pale pink dial surrounded by diamonds.It's a lovely feminine watch,pretty without being too girly.I recommend it to all women who want a good looking and relatively inexpensive diamond accented watch.

I ordered this watch and it was here within two days. Although my wrist is approximately 8 inches I still had to had two links removed from the watch. The watch is absolutely beautiful and looks better than the picture. It is substantial (but comfortable)and looks not only expensive but elegant on the wrist. I could not find a price that even came close to the one offered by Amazon. This really was a terrific deal and I am very pleased!
