Not Half Bad
Pretty low budget but some decent jokes here and there. Some of the acting at times isn't too terrible either. Bum man's gut is always hanging out which is pretty funny sometimes.

Bum Man - Hero of the Homeless proves that a good story can be more important than big name stars and millions of dollars in special effects. This is a fun and funny heart-warming tale of a guy from another planet who has the ability to be a superhero on earth, just not the ambition. What will it take to get him to care about more than booze? I won't tell you here, you'll have to buy the movie and see for yourself.
The guy playing Bum Man is tremendous, the rest of the acting ranges from good to not-so-good. The effects are as stated above low-budget, but fit in with the overall look of the movie. If a movie about a drunken superhero with sidekicks named Hobo Boy & Gutter Girl, a nemesis named Rich Man whose henchman wear Mexican wrestler masks all wrapped around a nice little love story doesn't sound like a good time then I feel sorry for you. For everyone else, go ahead and buy the movie, it's worth it. |
