WORTH THE MONEY!,
By Mandy "Liam's Mommy" (Cairo, Egypt) - See all my reviews
This review is from: BumbleRide Indie Stroller (Baby Product)
So far I love this stoller. I have had a Quinny Buzz and a Bugaboo and returned them both. The Buzz was cool but I really wanted more of an all terain stoller since I live in Egypt and you never know what the side walks will be like from day to day. The Bugaboo was awful. Very cool to look at and it was comfy, but a total pain in the butt to break down and I had awful problems with the front wheels sticking. Anyways back on subject. THE INDIE...beautiful stroller, glides nicely, large basket (wish it had a drawstring closure or zipper to help keep things in it when it's in the folded position). It is so light weight and I find it easy to break down and love that it has clips to keep it closed. I wish the air pump had clips on it to attach it to the frame, but that is a minor complaint. My son is 7 months old and loves riding around it. I have recieved many compliments on it. I also love that it is not as wide as most joggers so it makes taking it shopping easy, plus it doesn't take up the entire trunk of my car. The only other thing I wish it had was a belly bar and a flat tray, then again I have not tried the snack pack yet so maybe I will love that. All in all this is a awesome stroller and I would recomend it to anyone with an active life style.

great urban stroller,
This review is from: BumbleRide Indie Stroller (Baby Product)
After many in store and online comparisons, we are so happy with our Bumbleride Indie. We looked at many joggers- BOB's, City Mini, MacClaren's and even considered the Bugaboo. This stroller is light for a jogger, has a great basket that holds plenty of groceries, manuevers easily with one had (especially while trying to get through doorways) and handles the bumpy sidewalks of Philly great. The frame is really solid and the carriage portion is solidily constructed with lightly padded fabric, which I'm sure the little one will love when she is big enough. Using the infant seat is really easy, as it just gets belted in with the included attachment. The canopy is nice and big and between it and the infant seat canopy I can completely cover the baby if needed. The only negatives are that the cup holder is in the way of the release latch to fold down the stroller, so it takes getting use to, as does learning how to collapse the stroller. After doing it a few times though, I have it down. I find the key is to keep my foot on the brake as leverage. Also, I wish the storage pouch had a zipper, as the pump and manual fall out of it when it gets folded down. It doesn't fold down to be the most compact stroller, but no joggers do, and if you really need it to be compact you can remove the wheels to help. I think this is a great jogger for the money. I have yet to use it as a jogger, as my baby is only 2 months, but it seems like it will be great.

When I started looking for a stroller, I needed one that met several criteria:
Easily portable and storable: I live in New York and do not own a car; but we needed something that folds easily for when we take cabs. We also have very limited space in the apartment Light Jogger and all-terrain: My husband and I both love to run and do so very often in Central Park as well as Riverside Park. Easy for stairs: We have lots of friends who live in walk-ups and we take the subway very regularly. So we needed a stroller that's lightweight and easily manageable in going up and down stairs Versatile: And for all our criteria above, we wanted to be able to buy just one stroller and not have one for each purpose...because like I said above, we have limited space in the apartment Stylish: This wasn't a necessary condition, but sure, we'd be happy to have a stroller that gets admired when we walk around town True value : We didn't want to skimp on buying a good stroller but we didn't want a Bugaboo or Stokke for the coolness of it or because that's what everyone around you buys The Bumbleride Indie is the perfect stroller for us. It is light, sturdy, durable, works great as a light jogger, looks quite stylish, at half the price than the Bugaboo or Stokke or any of those upmarket ones, folds in a jiffy - just the sort of stroller you want when you hail a cab on the street and want to quickly transport the baby to the cab and the stroller to the boot. I am absolutely in love with my stroller. It involved a lot of research and I'm glad I found the perfect match for us! I only have good things to say about the Bumbleride Indie. Ohh and it also helps that it came with accessories(rain cover, car seat adapter, cup holder etc.) that you need to buy separately in other strollers.
