I have truly enjoyed this product. I got it for my 4 month old, who is huge (19 1/2 lbs!). Needless to say, he is a bit top heavy, but the contour of this seat really lets him experience sitting and interacting at that level with you. He also likes to reach for toys that I put on the tray. He sits firm and safe. Remember to use only under supervision and on the floor, because if they throw their head and weight back, it could topple over. Wish I had it for my other two. 50.00 for a baby seat??? Right I know,...but these guy's did something pretty cool with this little foam seat. It's something that my 4 month old can sit comfortably in and supports him very well for a long period of time. Considering that my little guy is very needy and seems to need constant holding. Being able to set him on the couch between us and watch a movie is pretty cool!!

Also my 2 year old likes to set in it,...more as a novelty for her, but just to show you that this little seat will be used from at least 4 month to about 12 or 16 months. I haven't any idea what it's rated for.

It's cool, if you were even slightly interested in this type of baby seat then get one of these.

This is not the best for chunky or squirmy babies. My LO's thighs sometime get her stuck in in the chairand the tray is a little difficult to get on the chair once she's in it.

Be aware that squirmy babies can flip the chair if they are not watched closely. We have had a few close calls. Enough to make us retire the chair after only a month or so.

Our son just loves to sit up, but cant do it on his own. We decided to try this out when our son was about 3 months old and he just loved it! We didnt have to be holding him all the time for him to sit up and the play tray let him play with his toys while he was sitting there. It freed us up to be able to get more done while still keeping an eye on him. I highly recommend this!

It was fun to see my son able to sit upright in this because it is very supportive for young ones with little muscle strength. It is being grown out of quickly though. He has pretty chunky legs and sometimes it's hard to get him in or out...it sticks to his rotund diapered backside. Also, make sure your are RIGHT there when your baby is in it. If they twist or arch backwards your child could get seriously hurt if they tumble out. My son is very squirmy and we've had several close calls.

My 5 month old just didn't feel comfortable in this seat. I think it just depends on the child. He is shorter and chunkier and wanted to move his legs around more than the Bumbo allowed. He likes his high chair much better.

If your baby is starting to sit this is a perfect thing to have. Our baby sits and plays with toys on the tray. Easy to wash. The seat isn't cold and plastic-y it warms quickly.

what an amazing chair...this is great for teaching my son HOW to sit up...and it's a life-saver for me when I need to cook din-din...I wish I had known about these when I raised my daughter many years ago!

We like our Bumbo. Mommy likes it the most, though. It's very handy for when you need to put your baby down for a minute. I use it when we are on our way out for a stroller ride and I need to do up my shoes. Or I have taken it when I was shoe shopping so that I had two hands free in the store, with baby sitting next to me. My 6 mo old son thinks it is okay, but doesn't like to be in it for very long. I thought the tray would be a good idea, but I don't use it anymore. When I put toys on it, they tend to slide off as my son reaches for them. I would save the money on the tray. If your baby has particularly chubby legs, they might not fit in a bumbo. But in all I'm glad we have it.
