5.0 out of 5 stars Love them so much that I'm now buying the bigger size
We have been using these on our now 5 month old daughter since she was born and I love them. They're so soft and they look so comfortable. We also have a bunch of organic cotton pre-folds (so much cheaper!), and they work fine, but the Bamboozles are much softer, more absorbent, less bulky and easier to use.

The only downside is that they take longer to dry...

2.0 out of 5 stars wet against baby
better than a prefold but keeps baby's skin wet. Fuzzi Bunz are way better for a similar price. I use it as a back up and won't be buying another one.

This review is from: Bummis Bamboozle Fitted Diaper - Size Small (5-18lbs) (Baby Product)

The only downside is that they take longer to dry than the pre-folds, but we just hang them on a cheap 32-prong drying rack in whatever room has the heating on and that works fine.

We use one of these with a prefold as a doubler and a wool cover at night time for our heavy wetting baby, and there's rarely a leak.

If you're in a new baby daze like we were, you might not realise that for a smaller baby, you can snap one "arm" of the diaper onto the other "arm" and then pull the front up to get a tight fit. Our daughter was 6lb 4oz and after we figured out what we were supposed to do, we had no problems getting a tight (but not too tight!) fit.

The small size seems like it will still fit for another couple of months, but I'm buying the next size up now so we're ready when she's too big for them.

If your primary concern is to keep everything dry, you might be better with diapers with some synthetic fibers (like the fuzzi bunz recommended above). However, if your primary concern is natural fibres against your baby's bottom, these are an excellent option.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great diaper for night, October 24, 2009

If it is absorbancy that is important to you, these diapers are the best. I must have tried out almost every cloth diaper on the market, and found these bamboo ones to be the best for night use. They are lovely and soft against baby's skin, and hold so much liquid. I combine these with a hemp doubler and a cover, and baby stays dry all night.

1.0 out of 5 stars there are better fitteds for price, absorbency and fit, April 30, 2011
This review is from: Bummis Bamboozle Fitted Diaper - Size Small (5-18lbs) (Baby Product)
They're used almost every day and after a month the snaps on one of them came off - I found one in baby's fist. I work overseas and sending diapers back is not convenient. Being in the tropics, during the day I just leave the wool covers off. I can't do that in these cuz they are the least absorbent of all the fitteds I bought, and the wetness goes right through (I follow cloth diaper washing instructions and have stripped them a few times in case that was the issue - it isn't). Other fitteds in my stash perform much better than these.

I'd get Pianissimo or Monkey Toe fitteds in bamboo/hemp, made by stay-at-home-moms. They're much better at price, absorbency and fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, June 1, 2009

We love these. They are bulkier than disposable diapers, however the environment wins on this one. Easy to wash and holds in liquid, just make sure you buy the diaper covers that go with them. No spillages or blow outs so far. Our baby is now 7 months old and we have been using them since she was born. She is nearly into the bigger ones of these we bought.

This diaper is very soft and I like the fit. My only wish is that it was made waterproof. Otherwise, great product!
