bumpedy road,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Bumpedy Road (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
Wonderful story. It made me laugh & cry. A must for cat lovers. Kiska the cat is a great story teller and helps people see life from their cats perspective. Shows people as Kiska says "that cats have feelings too."

Fun book. It's even more fun when I know the people and cats included in this wonderful story. I do recommend it to anyone. I do hope I get to see Kiska and her parents again- I miss you. Rain City Cats is also very fun. Looking forward to #3 and all that Pam writes. See ya...

WOW! What an amazing book! It make me giggle at times and other times I was reaching for the Kleenex box! I can't wait for Rain City Cats! I now understand why my cats did the crazy things they did. Kiska explains really well the ups and downs of life through her eyes. It is a great book for both kids and adults. And check out those pictures! Great job Naomi with the pictures. They really capture those precocious kitties! Kiska, thanks for your contribution to kid's literature. Meow!

Your cat, my cat,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Bumpedy Road (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
I really liked the book. I plan on buying the second one. Kiska reminded me so much of my cat cuddles. my cat does all those things to his food if he doesn't like it. I also think Canica became a movie star cat. Because all cats have their own little thing that they do, in your case, Canica lifted his Paw. My cat will stick his tounge out when he is happy. Thank you for coming to my school. from, Robbie

This review is from: The Bumpedy Road (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
I liked the book a lot, My favorite part was the last chapter. Even though we don't have a cat, Kiska reminded me of one of my neighbor's cats that looks almost exactly like her. I hope to see what happens to Kiska in her next book, and I plan on buying it too. Thanks for coming to our school! Angeline

This book is not only dear to my heart, but I believe that it will become dear to the heart of anyone who loves cats! What a wonderful multicultural book to read as a family. After all, it is a meaningful story involving both children and adults. I'm greatful to say it is my very own childhood. Great job mom!

It's a true story- most of it anyway,
By Cassandra Coveney (Minneapolis, MN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Bumpedy Road (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
This book was written by my mother and most of the information contained in it pertaining to her two daughters is true. It has been great to have our childhood journaled in such a clever way and our cat Kiska will always have a special place in my heart for sharing those experiences with us. I believe all children can find this book rather interesting as well as useful to relate to some difficult circumstances in their lives. However, mostly the book is humorous, realistic, and a great adventure detailing how a cat really thinks and what a cat would like to communicate to us humans.

Magical,

This review is from: The Bumpedy Road (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
This book came at a special time. I was on an airplane going to meet my newborn granddaughter who was born with Down Syndrome. This book gave me inspiration to know that all challenges which lie ahead can be faced with a loving family as Kiska knew. This book about two cats and their love for each other, I am sure will be little Caroline's favorite also. I laughed and cried, but most of all was left with hope for the future in this endearing story.

life's realities,
By susan deLucia (usa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Bumpedy Road (Kiska Trilogy) (Paperback)
The Bumpedy Road is a lifetime reality through the eyes of a much loved cat, to which the majority of the nation could easily relate. It was nice to actually discard the "leave it to Beaver, family" mentality behind, and read of a story that mirrored experiences that were happening right in my own family. Many children needed this book so they could also understand that divorce/parent separation was not so unique. Most of all, to artistically convey to the children that there was a rainbow of hope during the cloudy days of divorce and relocation. I have circulated this book to all my little friends that I know needed a little boost to help them through the tough spots. God Bless Miss Bauer Mueller for being honest and giving our children some hope for tomorrow.
