We got this jumper as a gift when my daughter was 2 mos., but she just started using it as she is 6 mos. now. My daughter loves the jumper - she squeals in delight when my husband and I bounce her in the chair. I would recommend this to anyone.

However, I do want to point out that you check the straps to make sure they are secure. My daughter was playing in her jumper when all of a sudden, she fell backwards, hitting her head on the kitchen floor (hardwood). She is OK, but when my husband looked at what happened, he saw that a pin came out which caused the strap to break loose. So, I would suggest that before you put your baby in the seat, check to make sure all pins are secure (to see the pin, you can lift the rubber part off the tray to see if it snaps in place).

I am nervous about putting her back in there, but knowing that she loves it, I probably will, just not so soon.

Despite the recommended age of five months, we put our baby in for the first time at just over two and a half months old (with a towel wrapped around him for support, the seat is pretty wide). He had been standing on our laps with support for several minutes at a time, and we thought he'd enjoy it. The first time we put him in he just sort of dangled there, the next day he moved his feet a bit, and by the end of the week he was jumping away! It became one of his favorite pasttimes.

Because of the seat size and adjustable height, we were able to use this for months. You do have to have a doorway with molding on it to hang it from - we had to put ours in the bathroom doorway, but it was worth the hassle. It's very easy to put up and take down. You can hang toys from rings on either side, and there's a nice tray in front, too (not that you'd want to put snacks on while they're jumping!). This is a great product and I'm looking forward to using it with our new baby.

My son LOVES this jumper! He is a very active baby with lots of energy & is always looking for things to get into. This product has been wonderful. For the longest time he would keep himself busy in his bouncy seat but once he was getting close to crawling the last thing he wanted, was to be stuck sitting in something. From the first time we tried this product it has been entertainment for not only my son, but for my husband & i to watch him in it. He has a blast bouncing up & down & it gives him a chance to be more free. He is 7 months now & crawling everywhere but never minds being picked up & put in his jumper for awhile. He gets so excited every time to go in it. I would highly recommend this product for any baby, especially those who have alot of energy to burn!!

Despite the minimal downsides, I do love this jumper. I bought it for my 5-month old and it is the only thing that will keep him entertained for more that 10-15 minutes at a time. He loves to jump and thinks it is so funny. I like the bumper that goes all the way around the perimiter of the jumper. Protects your walls/door frame as well as little fingers that may come between the jumper and the wall. Downsides are difficult assembly, hard to keep from scratching babies arms on the straps when pulling in and out of. It can be done but requires some skill. Also, does not adjust enough if you have 7-foot doorways. Would probably be perfect for 8-foot doorways. I have it on the highest adjustment and my son's knees are still bent when his feet are touching the floor. He will outgrow it very soon but it is a lot of fun while he is still able to use it.

My 4 month old son LOVES to stand, but my arms get so tired after awhile. He now hates all of his toys like his bouncer and swing because he does not want to sit down. I read about this on the website and read all of its great review. I was not sure if he was old enough yet but when I read that 3 month old kids could use it and loved it I knew I had to get it. My son has the BEST time in this jumper. He will stay in it up to an hour and has a ball. I love how easy it is to put up and take down and the tray is awesome. My son is teething so the slobber is never ending but I don't have to wory about it getting on the carpet because the tray catches all of it. I think every parent should get this for their child, it is very safe, affortable, and loads of
fun :-)

I was a little worried about the safety of this toy, but my 5 mo old daughter is so into bouncing jumping around I thought I would try it. She loves it!!! I can get work done in my office while she bounces around in the doorway. I will definitely use this until she gets to big. It is very amusing to watch her get excited about jumping. She makes really cute chirping noises when she is in it. I gave it 4 stars only because it is hard to find the right doorway to put it in. I needed it somewhere that I can supervise her and where there is carpet to soften her jumping. Also I am a little worried about her pinching her
fingers in the doorway, but so far she has been great. I think it is worth the... investment : )

Our son is 5 and a half months old and quite big, (about 19lb and 28 inches) but the jumper has plenty of room for him to sit in and the adjustable strap works fine for his height. The maximum weight is 25lb, but kids start to slow down growth around now, so he'll probably get some good use out of it for a few months. He LOVES this jumper. He's loves to bounce (quite high!) and also turn and look around from one room to the other. He's teething right now so this toy takes his mind off it for a while...!
The jumper is well constructed and the clamp for the door frame is pretty sturdy. I would highly recommend this product.

For the price, this is definitely a MUST have item. Our daughter started to enjoy the jumper just before she turned 4 months. It appeared as though she really enjoyed having mobility and the chance to explore her boundaries. She approached the jumper cautiously at first, but now at 7 months she is a PRO. She squeels as she jumps and she is so free and happy when in her jumper.
Another thing I notice is how incredibly strong her legs are, I think in part due to her jumping which has helped her develop her muscles.
I hope your baby enjoys this product as much as ours has!!

Even in the womb my son was very active. He is now 6 months old and is very energetic and gets tired of things quickly. I needed something new since he was getting tired of the swing, playpen, etc. He gets on this jumper and jumps up so happily and so amazed that you don't hear a peep for quite a while. Of course, with any small baby you must supervise at all times but because it hangs on doorways you can bring him to any room that you're in. It's great! Too bad I waited this long to get it.

I bought two jumpers. The bumper jumper and another Graco one without bumpers. GET THE BUMPERS!! This is awesome. Tip: The higher the molding the longer the use you will get out of this. For developmental/safety sake, your tots feet should just barely be on the ground (to avoid ankle injury/shin splits, etc). Remember, he has no shock absorbers on. We wear sneakers to do aerobics, babies generally go barefoot and even with baby shoes, there is not much shock absorbtion. It's a keeper!
