4.0 out of 5 stars Bumper guard beats the bully.
I am very happy that I purchased the Bumper guard for my 2010 Honda Accord. I am a previous owner of the Bumper Bully and was very unsatisfied with the product. A car rubbed against my bumper bully and left bolt marks on my bumper. It also tore the rubber and broke the yellow plastic that holds the straps which are attached to the inside of my trunk by velcro. I searched...

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice Idea But Cheaply Built
When I took it out of the box the foam guard was coming out of the plastic holder frame. I glued it in w/gorilla glue. The frames are made of thin, cheap plastic, for the price they charge they could have used higher quality plastic. One of the holding knobs on the license plate bracket broke after the first use. Will look for a different replacement soon. I don't feel...

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor value, March 24, 2011
This review is from: BumperGuard (Black) - Rear Bumper Protector
The concept seems good, but the product itself is of poor quality. The lock needed lubrication within weeks of purchase. The lock also tends to retain water and freeze at winter temps. The plastic license plate connection broke - not from being hit by a car, but from being brushed by passing pedestrians. Finally I noticed that the guard itself was making small scratches in the paint on my bumper.
My advice: look for another product!

After approximately five months of (rare) use, the bumper pad separated from the plastic wedges which hold the pad in place. I managed to re-attach the pad, but it never really hung well after this. Then the plastic clamps (the clamps are attached to plastic hooks on a license plate that is provided with the bumper pad) broke. The workmanship appears to be quite shoddy and the materials are visibly cheap--extremely breakable plastic parts that can easily warp over time, some metal pieces that look as though they were cast in a home-made forge, etc. The actual value of this item is far less than the $80 they charge. In addition, be forewarned: the company does not appear to stand by their product or guarantee it in any way.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too fragile, March 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: BumperGuard (Black) - Rear Bumper Protector
After installing this Pumper guard in my car I was very desappointed. The part that attach the bumper guard to the car is very fragile. I almost break it accidentally during installation. Very poor construction, a few months after I got this item, in a very windy night it was reap off from the car by the wind and I can't use it anymore. I throught someone stoled but a found it a block away from the car. I could not believe I paid so much money for this crap, is not worth the money. Also, is too short it offer some protection from cars directly behind you but since 3/4 of the people living in NYC don't know how to drive is useless because most of the people scratch you car either getting park behind you or coming out. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. For that money I was expect More quality.

I searched for a product to provide me with better protection. I have had the Bumper Guard for 8 months and I can tell you that these issues do not happen with the bumper guard. It's like having a huge marshmallow cushion for your cars bumper. The 2" thick bumper is the best product that I have seen thus far to protect my rear bumper. Be advised that you should not keep the Bumper Guard on while in the carwash.

1.0 out of 5 stars 100% Cheap, Fragile PLASTIC, April 15, 2011
This review is from: BumperGuard (Black) - Rear Bumper Protector
I purchased this product as it appeared to provide bumper protection that is easy on the eye.
A much better alternative to those rubber mats people have hanging onto the back of their cars.
Unfortunatley this entire product is made of cheap brittle plastic.
Why bother having a lock on this thing when anyone can just grab and rip this thing to pieces with their bare hands?
The panel that provides bumper protection is made of a soft foam that feels like a stiff sponge.
Feels cheap and looks cheap in real life.
Not worth the price. I'm returning this POS and getting a padded bumper guard that hangs from inside of the trunk.
Horrible, horrible product.
