We've had this crib for 3+ years now. We had to have the crib in our room so this was a great space-saving option for us. It worked out perfect for the first year or so then our son completely outgrew the changing table - we pulled the changing "pad" off and just put it on our bed to change him. We used bassinet sheets as a changing pad cover since nothing else fit - the bassinet sheets weren't perfect but they worked better than anything else. Our son loved to jump in his crib and the structure of the crib held up well against his constant jumping. The wood looks nice and overall the crib is sturdy. It was also nice to be able to have the drawers and shelving for extra storage, especially with our limited space.

The reason I'm only giving this crib 3 stars is because of the toddler bed conversion. First of all, the picture that is displayed (with 2 separate toddler rails - one on each side) is misleading as this is NOT what the toddler rail looks like...if you can even find it. I searched for several hours to find the matching toddler rail for this crib. I finally found it on Jdee dot com for 99 bucks (the Sorelle company website doesn't even sell them). That was the ONLY place I could find it so I shelled out the money for it as I didn't know what else to do. When it arrived, I was beyond disappointed. The toddler rail is the length of only 6 crib slats so it covers about 1/4 of the crib. And it only attaches to one side of the bed (the side furthest away from the changer/drawers). Unfortunately for us, our son had grown accustom to sleeping with his head on the other side of the bed. So the toddler rail is virtually useless - he's fallen out 3 times already and we've only had it converted to a toddler bed for about 4 months now.

I agree with the previous reviewer. This product is fantastic as a crib. The changing table is detachable so you can use it just as a spare dresser. My son loves to jump in it and it holds up very well. The biggest issue is the Toddler conversion. You can find it here in amazon for roughly 99 bucks but it is not as the picture portrays above. For one, the rail is located to the left side of the crib and very short in height. It's about as high as a pillow rest. Toddler rails are suppose to keep the child from rolling off, and it fails in that regard. If you're going to buy this crib because of the conversion, don't. It's not worth the money.

Overall the crib itself is great and easy to put together. Just don't expect to convert to toddler mode with safe results. I would give it a higher rating, but you'll be only using it as a crib for a short time. The key elements/change modes are mainly what people look for when buying these types of cribs. Thus why I've giving it a low rating.

My advice, go search for the other rails before commiting to a 4-1 changer, and buy the toddler rails early.
