While somewhat difficult to apply, it was definitely worth the effort and I love it! I had just bought a Gateway Netbook (LT2104u) which has a very glossy coating, and fingerprints always covered the top of it. After thinking about this briefly, I came across several skins that I loved and finally made a decision about which one I wanted.

When I received my Netbook skin, I first had to trim it - and I recommend a ruler and sharp scissors, unless you are not as obsessive about things like that as I am. I actually applied the skin, but didn't get it centered enough to my liking, so was able to peel it back off and try again. The trick to applying any cover or protector is to do little bits at a time, and I usually start at one corner and slide my fingers smoothly and evenly across the material diagonally while applying diagonally, ending at the opposite corner. With my netbook I had a small advantage - the Gateway "emblem" stands out a tiny bit more then the netbook case itself, so I was able to gently pry the skin off starting from there. When I applied it the second time I was more careful to get it centered how I wanted it and was able to smooth out almost all of the bubbles (one remains still, but whether it is an actual bubble or something else, I do not know and it is hardly noticeable, even by someone as picky as myself). The skin also seems to settle a little over some time and now it appears as if that is how my netbook was made. The material has a nice feel to it, and seems that it will hold up well over time. I definitely recommend one of these skins, but just be careful when applying it and take the time to do it right.
