The design of these are wonderful, but they need to be stickier; the one we purchased for my wife's work laptop started to curl on the edges and wants to come off every couple of days.

My netbook is all scuffed up so I went ahead and ordered a skin. It's pretty difficult to put it on the computer without getting any air bubbles. I tried to be careful but there were little air pockets that I just couldn't get out. I ended up peeling the skin off because it looked kind of juvenile, anyway.

I was SO disappointed when I went to put this decal cover on my netbook! It was WAY too small! I measured to make sure it would fit before I ordered it and the info in the description was WRONG!

Left a "Gluey" Mess,

Fine at first but eventually as I began to use my PC, the cover began to slide and the uncovered "gluey' part began to attract dust, lint, etc. from my carrying cases. I peeled the sticker off and tried to remove the glue--this left a mess that I could not get rid of. Finally I had to take it to my workplace building engineers to see if they had something "industrial" to remove it. They came up with something that did not damage the computer finish--thankfully they were able to help me. Save yourself the drama -- do not buy.

It sticks very well if you can get it on without any bubbles. (I have done this before so this wasn't a problem and it has survived the test of a few months and not one corner has curled or shown signs of becoming loose.) But as others that say they had a bubble, if you have a bubble plan on this thing coming off soon for whatever reason. Everyone that is VERY careful should be ok though.The problem I had is getting the stick film off. I could not for the life of me find the corner to pull it off from. Once I cut the decal to size I was able to find it with a knife. Overall I am still satisfied as this will last a long time when placed properly. |
