This Do-It-Yourself kit is extremely easy to use and the extensions can be treated like your regular hair! The high-heat extensions can be washed, flat ironed, curled, cut and blow dried (heat up to 120 to 140 degrees). **These are NOT real feathers, they are synthetic printed/color fiber strands.** How to Use This Product: Step 1: Prep your wooden hook-n-slide tool by inserting a silicone micro bead through the wooden hook - choose the bead that matches your current hair color the most. Step 2: Take a section of your hair (5-10 strands of hair) - where ever you grab the hair is where you'll like the extension to be attached to. Step 3: Use the hook portion of your wooden tool to grab your hair and slide your hair through the silicone bead - so now your hair should be through the bead and the bead should be sitting close to your roots. Step 4: Insert the feathers, bonded side toward the roots, into the bead - squeeze the bead flat with pliers. Pliers do NOT come with this set. How to Remove Extension: Take your pliers and lightly crimp your bead on the folded edges toward the center of your bead to open the bead slightly so the bead and extension slide off your hair strands. ABOUT EXTENSION COLORS: We will try our best to ship out the 20 designs as pictured. However, there are times that a particular designs dye coloring can be off from what is viewed or it maybe out of stock. My daughter has been pestering me to order the extensions she sees on tv for months. Occasionally we'd run into someone offering to apply one for $5, which I thought was a ripoff. With ideas scarce for last minute gifts I found this bundle. I knew we would need the tool, beads, and what a great price for 20 "feathers". 3 days before Christmas and my order shipped-from Hawaii. I was shocked when it arrived on th 24th, but happy.

My daughter is almost 14 and this was perfect for her. She didn't care that they weren't real, and loved all the different bright and grizzly colors. The strands are thin, and I don't think they will hold a curl, but really, who cares? They are fun, easy to apply and remove, and best of all I don't have to keep saying no to getting real colored highlights in my daughter's hair. It was so easy to put one in, and really a single strand isn't obtrusive, so I even put one on myself. I have a very sensitive scalp and there is no pulling or discomfort in the area of the bead, even during sleep.

This was a great buy for a happy kid and no permant hair changes. If you want something fancy you definitely have to splurge on real feathers though.

FYI, there are no instructions in the kit, but youtube has great instructional videos.

I had my mom order these for me. She is a hair stylist so she's used to working with these kinds of things but anyone can do it really. It's really easy to put in your hair. The only thing i wasn't happy with was that they didn't have a pink one like what was shown in the picture but oh well. These colors are pretty and very worth it ! Buy these !!

I have two daughters (4 and 6) who have been on a major feather craze. All I hear is "Mommy all my friends are wearing them). So, originally, I took them to the salon to get the feathers put in their hair. It cost $10 for one extension or two for $15. That's when I started looking online. One day I saw Bundle Monster list this on their Facebook page ([...] -- they have so much cute stuff btw)and I knew I had to get this for my kids. You get 20 extensions plus the beads and the tool (I have pliers so I didn't care about that not being included). This is SOOO much cheaper than having them professionally done and they look just as good. Besides that, I can now change my daughters' feathers as much as they want. This kit is awesome an completely worth the $13 or so that I paid :)
