It's OK, But............,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bundy BTB-300 Series Student Trombone Lacquer
I purchased this for my Son for beginning band at his school. I originally rented a Jupiter trombone through the school but was tired of paying monthly rental charges. This is a fair trombone for a beginner. It is China made. I play trombone myself and it is a good playing trombone but not as good as my Conn88H but played as good or better than the Jupiter. The slide is a little rough but the Jupiter was rougher. The counter weight is not balanced properly, it's a little front heavy but it poses no problems. The case is a plastic case, pretty nice. If your looking for a reasonable priced trombone, then buy this one. I do see that when he starts marching band I will probably buy him a better trombone with an "F" Key.

Maybe the worst sound?,
This review is from: Bundy BTB-300 Series Student Trombone Lacquer
I acquired two of these used from online auctions because I needed cases. They look okay but they both sound terrible. As in "really bad". My recommendation: Try an Olds, Conn or Yamaha for better sound, even if you have to buy used to afford one. This horn will discourage a student in a hurry in my opinion.
