The Bundy Murders is an updated look at the infamous murders of Ted Bundy. This book has great detail on the last movements of the victims. The work does not have the usual 8 or 9 picture gallery "photos of the victims". Sullivan's focus is on the murdered girls as people and has lots of detail on them, their movements and the location in which the crime occurred.
The book has great new information on potential victims that escaped with their lives. TBM gives much more insight on Ted's trolling methods and the ruses he used to ensnare victims. There are many references to witnesses not mentioned in other accounts.

Ted had scrapes with law enforcement and other people who were very suspicious of Ted and his sneaky and wily ways. Sullivan captures these in his text. The image of Ted the "super-sneak" is slightly tarnished as the author shows that people did have their suspicions about the mighty Bundy before his eventual capture.

The numbers tell the horrible story. For four years, Ted Bundy, the all-American boy, slaughtered our daughters. 36 women. A person every 45 days on average, fell to the warped psyche of the most horrific killer in American history. TBM does a first rate job of putting all the evidence and facts on view for everyone to see. Bundy killed 36 or so women and greatly impacted a few thousand more. All these people suffered to satisfy the twisted sexual and psychological needs of a warped human being.

Read this book if you want to get more information on the case. Some of the older books done on the Bundy murders lacked the detail Kevin sullivan has been able to provide. Buy this book if you want that kind of detail.

I am Lorraine Fargo, briefly mentioned in Mr. Sullivan's account of Ted Bundy's murder of a close friend of mine, Roberta Kathleen Parks. I must admit that seeing my name in print after all these years was a bit of a shock to me, and rekindled all of the emotions we all felt, 36 years ago, when Kathy disappeared. I have not yet completed reading Mr. Sullivan's book, but from what I have read, it is very accurate, and the very readable style in which it is written makes it hard to put down.

I have had the pleasure of communicating with Mr. Sullivan since I became aware of this book, and I can tell you that his intent is to deliver the facts in an insightful and sensitive way. I believe he has accomplished this and then some.

Ted Bundy effected the lives of many, many people prior to his eventual capture and execution, and I am one of them. I'd like to thank you publically, Kevin, for your detailed and sensitive account of this horrific series of events that consumed the many loved ones, friends, and indeed, the entire nation for many years.

Mr. Sullivan gives us a personal glimpse into the lives of Bundy's victims that earlier books failed to capture. If you are a true crime enthusiast or have a particular interest in Ted Bundy's criminal endeavors, this is a MUST READ. There are no other books in publication that offer the insight and details that Kevin Sullivan offers. READ THIS BOOK!

I thought I knew everything about Ted Bundy. But Kevin Sullivan's The Bundy Murders: A Comprehensive History is an important addition to the Bundy canon. Sullivan's story of seeing up close the contents of "the bag" - Ted Bundy's murder kit he carried in his VW - gave me chills. As far as I know, Sullivan is the only author to see for himself some of the tools Bundy used when he killed dozens of young women, including the ice pick, the rope, the ski mask, and the Glad trash bags he carried to help him dispose of his victim's personal belongings. I had never seen the photo of the vials of pubic hair that police had collected from the human remains they found. Sullivan also shares new details about Bundy's crimes. This is the first book in decades to detail Bundy's murders, from Washington, to Oregon, to Colorado, to Utah, to Florida, and the first to tell what it was like for detectives across the country to try and stop Ted Bundy.

I've read most of the Bundy books and it ranks right up there with " The Only Living Witness" & "The Riverman". If you've been interested in Bundy and all the books,videos,newsclippings,etc,over the years,as I have,this is A MUST READ !!! Consider this...this probably will be the last good-great book written about Ted.Mr Sullivan did a great job,well researched,a "real page turner" as they say.This is a book I will re-read,thanks Mr.Sullivan !!!!! Good job !!!!

I've read almost every book about the Bundy case and this one is by far the best. Sullivan provides the reader with details other books overlook. The details of the murders and how Ted taunted his victims come to light in this book...as do the personalities of the victims. Sullivan allows us to see them as they were in life...giving us a glimpse into their lives. I cannot say enough about this book. A must read for anyone interested in the case. Sullivan covers new ground with this book.

I really enjoyed The Bundy Murders. I've read both The Only Living Witness and The Stranger Beside Me, and I consider TBM a great complement to those. I know the Bundy story very well, yet Mr. Sullivan was able to provide many new fascinating details. I fully endorse and highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book, I thought it was well written and researched. I liked the fact that it focused more on the victims and showed aspects of their personality. Thank you Mr. Sullivan!

Based primarily on official case files and interviews with investigators, TBM chronicles the gradual deterioration of Ted Bundy and awful swath he cut across the lives of relatives and friends of the beautiful young women and children that he murdered. The book is focuses on those cases where the facts support Bundy's guilt. It's well researched and offers up valuable and useful facts previously unknown, particularly about individual cases. This makes it a valuable addition to the database about Bundy and his crimes.

Very well researched and written. A captivating narrative that kept me on the edge of my seat. The author does an excellent job of taking us along with Bundy in his descent to a complete meltdown in Florida. The book is so full of facts, I had to read the book twice to absorb it all and may read it again! Highly recommended!
