I purchased these discs for use inside my hockey skate. The padding on the inside of my relatively new Reebok 7k skates virtually diminished which left my ankle bone on the inside of my right foot pushing up against the composite shell of the boot. Every time I pushed off on my right skate or dug in for a quick turn, the pain was intense. Since Reebok has the pump feature, I tried simply pumping it up but never could get my heel back far enough so that would make a difference.

I bought these 'bunga pads' after of series of failed experiences with Dr. Scholls products. Though Dr. Scholls never made anything specific for what I needed, there were a vast array of products that were close enough to try. There were things like heel pads and arch protectors, mole skin and a variety of gel inserts that I tried to modify to put over my ankle inside my skate. Never had any luck as the pain on my ankle never went away.

So I pulled the trigger on these discs and couldn't be more happy. They're thick enough to essentially replace the lost padding but not thick enough to cause issues inside the skate. In fact, I don't even really notice they are there. I'm very satisfied with this product and will be purchase more if/when necessary. I've used one of them in my skate for ~30 hours and it shows no sign of wear or damage. Since it comes in a 2 pack, it seems I'll get plenty of use out of them.

I bought the bunga pad disks at the suggestion of a teammate. I play roller derby and get an awful blister on my right foot where I push. I purchased the bunga pads and they've been a complete life saver! When wearing the right kind of socks, they don't even slip, and I haven't had a blister since!
