My son loves this boomerang and so do I! Why?! It's something he can throw really hard without breaking anything! Also, it's super bright so that we can find it -- on the neighbor's roof or coming right at the littlest brother! 9-12 year olds love it -- and chasing a boomerang beats staring at a screen anytime! (Even if I do have to get the ladder out once in awhile.)

I've uploaded a product image of the boomerang I actually received. It's not just a different color, it's a completely different design. Not what I would have chosen.

Also, the one I received didn't really look new. It looked like it had been removed from the packaging and put back, missing a strap. The edges of the boomerang are already worn, and the image on the boomerang is already fading. Not sure it will hold up long.

That does mean it's soft, however, which is what I wanted. I bought this as a gift, and neither I or the recipient know how to use boomerangs, so I wanted something not so potentially dangerous. This will definitely work.

I gave it a test throw and wasn't impressed, but like I said I haven't thrown a boomerang before. I will update this review after Christmas once we can actually test it out properly.
(I just wanted buyers to know what they would really be getting.)
