Bunions have made doing any kind of exercise without shoes on (or without those prescription insoles) mostly impossible because of balance issues. I don't have too much pain from my bunions, thank god, but they have made doing some activities pretty difficult, especially yoga, which has been the only form of exercise that I've ever enjoyed. Since I have limited mobility in my big toe, I can't use it to balance like most people can, and this became a problem when I did yoga because I would just keep on falling over, and doing balancing positions seemed to make the bunion worse because it meant more time was spent in the misaligned position. This is where the Bunion Aid comes in. I started wearing it to classes, and it has made the biggest difference! I can balance, I don't have to constantly re-position my toes, and the hinge offers enough rotation to do most positions comfortably. It does get pretty sweaty, but the cloth parts are pretty small so washing is not an issue.

As the title suggests, there is a false claim, in my opinion - the one regarding wearing it inside your shoes. Unless you are wearing massive shoes that are 3 sizes too big and too wide for you, you will not fit this contraption inside your shoes in any comfortable way. This is especially the case if you are only wearing one, because then the other foot would feel uncomfortable because you'd be wearing too-big shoes (which would be fine for the foot with the splint, but way too big for the other foot).

This is a minor issue for me, and the BunionAid has helped me out so much and has improved my overall comfort in such a significant way that the inability to wear it inside my shoes just seems so insignificant in comparison, which is why I am not taking a star off for it.

From the wife of E. Lyons: My bunions aren't as bad as some people's are, but they were paining me on a regular basis, especially on my right foot. I was searching for something that could help not only alleviate the pain, but perhaps help stop or slow what seemed to be a process of change in my feet. After sleeping with the Bunion Aid on my right foot for only a week or so, the pain disappeared. I've also used it on my left foot as needed. At this point I wear the Bunion Aid only after wearing tight shoes, high heels or if my feet have had a heavy work-out. I know it's worked for me and I feel I may have staved off an uglier situation with my 53-year-old feet! The Bunion Aid is a great tool and I'm really glad to have discovered it.

This is the most effective product I have ever used to relieve bunion pain. I tried other splints and such, but this is completely different. Although the stretch feels gentle, it really is very effective. I have been able to wear them inside my giant Crocs with thin socks, which is great. Although my Crocs are not particularly attractive, I am grateful that I can wear the splints during the day because they train my feet to walk in a more aligned way. I also wear them at night and have no problems sleeping with them on. Other splints would cause irritation or pain, but these are just great. Well, I did experience some itching and rubbing from the velcro once, but that was only because I didn't take the time to put the split on correctly.

So far, this is by far the best product out there for bunions. I have only used them consistently for a few weeks, so I will be sure to update in a couple of months.

I've tried several other bunion splits, with limited success. Even though a podiatrist told me that this split wouldn't do any good, I can testify that he was wrong. I've been using it about 2 months, right foot only. My bunion wasn't bad yet, but getting worse. I only wear the splint at night, and these are my results - the redness over the bunion area is gone, the discomfort of wearing certain shoes or sandals is gone, and the stiffness of flexing my big toe is gone. There is still an obvious lump, but I actually think it is smaller, and certainly no bigger. I am a fan of this product.

I had another bunion regulator that was a lot cheaper from Foot Smart, but in this instance, you get what you pay for. That one was to wear only at night, but it was so uncomfortable I found myself getting up in the middle of the night and taking it off. This one I have no trouble wearing all night, and in fact it can be worn during the day in shoes. It is easy to adjust, too. Definitely worth it for anyone with a bunion who wants to avoid having it get any worse.

I purchased this product after trying several others for managing my moderate & beginning bunions. At first it seemed too gentle for the moderate bunion so I wore it for the beginner one. It became VERY comfortable at night and the hinged part worked fine with large shoes, but did cause pain after several hours of walking. Despite looking gentle, it did a fine job of straightening my toe (& reducing pain & discomfort). AND it turned out to be much more comfortable at night than the other products I purchased. I now use it at night alternately for both feet since it fits left or right foot equally well. This is a wonderful product for managing bunions gently at home - at night - with positive results. I am a delighted customer.

I had a bunion that was interfering with my biking, running, hiking and even daily walking. Thanks to my mom's genes I'm punished with these ugly bumps on my feet. But at least now I can walk, run and dance again. This little device called Bunion Aid does magic to my feet. Fifty dollars well spent! I can wear it at home and at night, I can walk in it, it's comfortable and it relieves my pain.

I can finally kick off my high heels after work or going out and give my bunion pain a break!!!

Bunion Aid Hinged Splint for Bunions

It has been 2 weeks that I've had the Bunion Aid and my bunions don't hurt anymore. Isn't that amazing?! Just two weeks! I wear it a few hours a day or night, alternating feet. I'm just 21 and I have moderate bunions, the big toe on my right foot presses into the second toe, and many shoes I can't wear because of the width where the bone presses out. =(

After working a double as a waiter, my feet were killing me. They had never hurt so badly. I had to call out of work to lay in bed all day after that double. My bunions were apparently getting worse, and I was down to tears searching online for relief. I am so glad I found the Bunion Aid! I ordered it next-day shipping and it arrived timely.

I have just bought this item about 2 weeks ago, and I have been using it as often as possible. I used to have pretty bad bunion, and after I played tennis for a couple of hours, my feet hurts, especially my left foot. After using this product as often as I possibly can, my bunion has reduced it sizes by about a 1/3 and my big toe is no longer pushing on my 2nd toe, but the best part is my feet does not hurt as bad as they used to. The big plus about this product vs its competitors is that there is a hinged which makes it possible to wear it even around the house and not just in bed, which means the problem can be corrected faster. The 2nd plus about this product is it comes with a separate little cushion that can be placed underneath my flat foot and it gives me great arch support. I am so happy with this product that I bought another one for my right foot last week.

I would recommend these products to anyone that has bunion and/or flat feet issues. It is more expensive than its competitors, but it works and is worth every penny.
