5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, July 20, 1998
This Book is a must for any adventure/sci-fi lover. I first read it when I was 8, and I lost it. I need to find another copy for my children.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kids build time machine, rescue Dad, meet dinosaurs., October 7, 1997
By A Customer
This is a tale of two siblings who rebuild their father's partly successful time machine, and go back in time to the dinosaur era to rescue him. During their search and rescue escapades, they meet and befriend a talking "Bungee" dinosaur, and end up taking him with them back to present day England. Much hilarity and heartwarming moments ensue. I am terribly upset that this book is no longer in print!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bunjee Venture, April 11, 2006
This review is from: The Bunjee Venture (Paperback)
ISBN 0590301624 - The only real complaint I've got is that understanding what Bunjee says is a little difficult sometimes - but other than that, great book!

Andy and Karen's father loves to invent things, and his hobby has been pretty harmless so far because nothing has ever worked! This time, Mr. Winsborrow has invented a time machine. When he shows it off for his family, it explodes and his wife is certain that he's finally blown himself to bits. Andy, however, is sure that his father has succeeded and is now stranded in prehistoric times! To rescue their father, Andy and Karen follow his time machine blueprint and manage to get it working. Now all three of them need to find their way home again. Along the way, they have incredible adventures and discover Bunjee, the last of his kind, and a creature so long extinct that no one has ever heard of them. Bunjee can speak and is so excited to find other speaking beings that he doesn't want to be left behind when they finally go home!

Not at all even remotely realistic - and that, in this case, is a very good thing! All budding, young sci-fi fans will enjoy it.

My 4th grade teacher read this to my class when I was a kid, I was so happy to find it on the interwebs. Great story for kids and still fun to read as an adult. Quick read with cute pictures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally found this book..., September 30, 2010

This review is from: The Bunjee Venture (Paperback)
In 1989 I was read this story by my 3rd grade teacher. As years have went on I never knew the name but I could easily remember boy/girl, time machine and a strange creature (resembled snorks). As I got older I have tried searching online but it didn't do a bit of good. Yesterday I was at my local library and it some how came up and the childrens book lady helped me find the book I have always knew was out there but was out of my grasp. I now have a daughter of my own and have just ordered this book so I can share this great story with her too. This story is a winner with young kids because it sticks with you, even 20+ years later. ;)

4.0 out of 5 stars Eep Eep Worra Worra Bunjeeee!, March 2, 2001
By A Customer
I was first introduced to this story in the fifth grade by my teacher and I really liked it; however, it has been so long since I've read it that I don't really remember much of the story! I would love to find a cheap copy in decent condition if anyone has one to offer!

A wonderful adventure with the most lovable creature. My mom read it to me when I was a child and the re-read as an adult was even better.
