For the price I paid I can't complain too much. All the parts were there...and contrary to what some others posted I didn't find the directions too hard to follow. All in all I would buy the bed again so my review will focus more on the Cons...because the Pros were what should be expected based on the description.

Pros:
1) Great value for the price.
2) When completely put together it was fairly sturdy.
3) Nice color and design.
4) All the parts were there.
Cons:
1) The top rail isn't very high so you are fairly limited on how thick the mattress could be.
2) The trundle has very limited clearance...so same issue with the mattress thickness as the top.
3) The bottom full bed has one support beam, the top has two. All three support beams were made from pine and had big knots in them that made me wonder if they would hold up. Sure enough the first time I laid on the bed I heard a CRACK and the beam broke at the knot hole. Instead of replacing it I just used a 1.5 inch mattress box spring which also help provide a little more clearance for the trundle. Due to the larger mattress I was using the trundle would only push in about 1/2 way before it was hitting the beam that hung low.
4) As I said above...low clearance for the trundle...so I actually used some floor sliders to lift the bunk beads a bit so I could put a thicker mattress on the trundle.
5) Was surprise at how small the supports were that hold the two bunk beds together...it done with 4 fairly small dowel rods. Once they were put together the beds seemed solid...but was still surprised at how small the connectors were.

Again...don't let the Cons dissuade you from getting this bed...I just want to let you know what to expect.

We looked at several bunk beds in retail stores before we purchased this bed from Amazon. It arrived very quickly.in two large boxes. I agree with the other reviewers that it is a bit of a chore to put it together. My husband luckily has a lot of patience and is pretty handy. The main problem is that the illustrations are not that good and there aren't any written directions to go with them. The biggest hint we can give is to look closely at the next couple of pictures before you complete the step that you are working on. That would have saved us one major re-do in the construction! We are happy with the quality of the final product and would have given it five stars except one problem. The clearance for the trundle is about 3 inches too low. I bought the thinnest single mattress I could find, and we still had to use a few shims to raise the bed so that the trundle can slide back and forth easily. Luckily we only use it when all of our grand kids are visiting at the same time!

This bed is unsafe. One of the boards that is supposed to keep the child from falling out of the top bunk just broke in half sending my son hurling to the ground. He hit his head and scraped up his back. The wood on this bed is cheaply made. The hardware is cheap. I would not recommend buying this bed. My son could have been badly injured. We were lucky he did not break his arm!

The bed arrived on time as expected BUT we had to do some reinforcing. As others have mentioned, very little room for a standard 8/9 inch twin mattress. We had to put our own bed risers. We had some two inch thick brick and my husband cleaned them well and cut them so you hardly notice they're there. It's still a bit of a struggle to pull out the trundle, but it works fine. Also, my husband added plywood to each of the full size beds in order to distribute the weight better. The plywood is the size of the full mattresses. There are other ways to add some reinforcement too. It's working for us.
This is a nice bed. Nice color. But my only recommendation is to get a 4-6 in twin mattress or if you're using a standard 8-9 inch twin, get bed risers. And I would definitely say to add your own reinforcements. I feel more at ease with reinforcements. Overall it's a good bed for the price. I also like that the top bunk isn't too high so it doesn't interfere with the ceiling fan. My pictures shows the bed and the twin mattress on the trundle. And the bed risers we used.

We purchased this bed for our 3 kids. The bed is made very well and is very sturdy. We got the cappuccino color and it's beautiful. We are very happy with the quality and strength of the beds. My husband is over 230 pounds and was on the top bunk with no problems. I highly recommend this bed. We purchased signature sleep mattresses available through amazon.com to go with these beds and the kids love bed time. We have a 9 year old, 11 year old and 14 year old. Lots of compliments on the bed from family and friends. My husband was able to put this bed together by himself. Again highly recommend.
