5.0 out of 5 stars Colorful Book of Italian Cuisine, February 6, 2008
This review is from: Buonissimo!: Easy Modern Recipes for Traditional Italian Cooking (Hardcover)
This Italian cookbook includes large, colorful pictures of each recipe. The recipes are fairly simple. The average person would not have difficulty finding the ingredients or following the instructions. It includes recipes for Italian pastas, meat dishes, soups, salads, risottos, pizzas and desserts. I made the pizza marinara and it turned out great. I followed the basic pizza dough recipe that can be used for any of the pizza recipes in the book, such as roasted eggplant pizza, cherry tomato pizza, goat cheese pizza, mushroom pizza and pizza marinara. The chickpea salad is fabulous, also. Dessert recipes include gelato, tiramisu, zabaglione, lemon polenta cake, and coffee granita.
